riobeard11 Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:30 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:30 PM You live in DC; go do change! I'll get on that!
reamary Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:35 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:35 PM I have two jobs. the first part of the day is working full time at a hospital - this job is split to half being an assistant in the spokesperson's office and half as a receptionist at the oncology department. the second job is costumer service at the theatre (fine arts theatre, not a movie theatre) in my first job they gave me two extra hours per day (= 10.5h) till the end of february ro replace someone who's on a sick leave. I agreed and intended to ask for less shifts at the theatre but then they offered me a temporary promotion till easter for some project. I hate both things and I now wish I never said yes. it's not worth the money and it's not worth the lack of sleep or studying, and definately not the pain or the hate I have for both jobs Oh wow, that sounds indeed exhausting! And there isn't any way you could still change your mind and cancel it? Before you get too exhausted, I mean as you don't even have time to sleep enough. http://i342.photobucket.com/albums/o419/reamary/1338b390-8604-432c-8a00-e8e1052a92ba.jpgHELSINKI 9.6.2008 - PARIS 26.11.2013 - PARIS 28.6.2016 - STOCKHOLM 17.6.2017 !
Edwin Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:37 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:37 PM I'm on the outskirts of Omaha now. The shows that are performed at your performing arts theatre, is that just local actors or touring productions of shows? And at the place I'd like to intern they've had Adam Lambert and Melissa Etheridge perform (was able to meet them both!) but it would be cool to actually see the behind the scenes stuff in person. Are you fluent in French?
Mrs.Goldman Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:38 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:38 PM slee[ is overrated. haha. but no i can't change my mind now. it's too late. the problem is not so much the fatigue but the fact that both jobs make me want to die because they are terrible jobs so it's not worth any of it. in the theatre i already said what's bad. in the oncology deparment, i used to work half time and each time someplace else and replace whoever's missing. now i am only in one place with this annoying girl who made me her personal mental boxing bag. i almost cried today because of her and it needs to be till February and i work 6 hours instead of 4 with her... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/CallingYou/shadowoflovesig-1.jpg
Edwin Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:40 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:40 PM What is the point of posting something for sale on the forum and then PMing you to tell you to email them? I've had that happen twice now just this month. I kinda gave up on collecting but there are two things I really want right now, books/photo items. Why not just continue talking in PM...

Are you fluent in French? Mine is a national theatre so they big stuff from all over the country but only Israeli people. the biggest thing i've had there was when they had a big show on television about 50 years for the theatre and they made an entire show with the artists who performed in some famous shows and my favorite childhood actress/singer was on it and i watched her perform and cried and then went backstage and spoke to her and hugged her. she was so awesome! I am not perfect in french but I am fluent... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/CallingYou/shadowoflovesig-1.jpg
riobeard11 Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:42 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:42 PM *tear* That ignore list is just getting longer... Are you ignoring me now, Claudette? I am in a mood today.
Edwin Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:46 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:46 PM Awh, that's awesome when you get to meet someone you really admire! I don't think I can be ignored but on the same token I can't ignore anyone either so my list is empty. So it goes both ways Feel free to try it, I really am curious
Claudette Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:52 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:52 PM No Bobby... I always like reading your posts. Just the people who use such nice language here on the forum. http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
reamary Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:53 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:53 PM I would love to work a theatre! I think I may do an intern job this summer at a venue just to get some experience. I need to be with the stars! Bobby: I'm not as sure as you are. I think there's also been some good progress made on tougher actions against it. ^ I think at the same time it's not. But that's how it goes in the world we live in! We can only hope that one day that will change. I think we've talked about this issue some time before, but I have to say I agree with Edwin on this, in my opinion we should give it attention, cause I think that things (and I mean things in general too) won't change just like that by themselves, without anyone actually acting and doing anything. It's the attitudes that would need to be changed. So that no one would want to bully anyone. But at the same time I do realize it's something that has always been there, and probably will always continue to be there too, for same reasons that all other cruelty in this world exists.. cause some people just are so cruel/unthoughtful/self centered/idiots/you name it. http://i342.photobucket.com/albums/o419/reamary/1338b390-8604-432c-8a00-e8e1052a92ba.jpgHELSINKI 9.6.2008 - PARIS 26.11.2013 - PARIS 28.6.2016 - STOCKHOLM 17.6.2017 !
riobeard11 Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:56 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:56 PM (edited) ^ I think you and I did have the same conversation before. I see both sides, I just sometimes feel that it's giving a bully what they really want: attention. But like you said...some people are just cruel. No Bobby... I always like reading your posts. Just the people who use such nice language here on the forum.I have yet to use the ignore feature...maybe one day someone will push me over the edge. Edited January 30, 2012 at 08:57 PM by riobeard11
Shamrock_1982 Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:56 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 08:56 PM I did the same thing last night. However, would like to add some others too which I unfortunately can't. But it was fun. Some people are just so rude. Took Lilo to the vet this afternoon for her last shot. In walk this woman, she gave Lilo a look and said, that is not a chow chow, her nose is too long. I was like WTF, you get two types, one with the long nose and the other one has the short nose with deeper eyes. Lilo is still a puppy, her ears and tail are not even in proportion with her body. Can't some people mind their own bussiness. Nobody even asked her. Dido lmao. Some are just not that easy to ignore, but those we can't we can just have a laugh at anyways lol..
Edwin Posted January 30, 2012 at 09:09 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 09:09 PM Look lady, I'm not gonna play games. If you want to sell something then don't make me jump through hoops and ask questions I've already answered. Forget it -- there's other sellers that aren't so daft.

I doubt you're one of the people running around here mouthing off.
sfbaysinger Posted January 30, 2012 at 09:43 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 09:43 PM Awwwwwww, I hope you are right. Depends though on how you define mouthing off. To my mother, it was any additional comment that defied her own. I definitely have been voicing my opinion very strongly around here, but I hope I've done it nicely. L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!

Edwin Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:06 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:06 PM I'm glad you understood that you're the Dancing Queen
I Love You Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:06 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:06 PM I'm sorry, that you think I put Celine on a pedal stool. Which I don't, and also for you to make a comment like that. You think you know me,well you don't no shi$ about me.
Edwin Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:08 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:08 PM Don't let them get to you
dj4celine Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:11 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:11 PM OMD! Now Bobby gets your priority!!!!! I hate you, EdwinO! :chair: How could you break my heart like this?!! Huh?!?! How? HOW? HOW?!??!!?
I Love You Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:12 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:12 PM Thanks, Edwin. But, it just pis$s me of when someone makes a comment like that. When, they don't me, and my relationship with Celine.
Edwin Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:15 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:15 PM You're jealous he gets my priority on an ignore list? You're OBSESSED Droof Exactly, if they don't know you at all then they are obviously talking out of their #ss. More reason to forget what they say. Trolls feed off that and will only continue to do if they know their pot stirring is working.
dj4celine Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:22 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:22 PM OH HELL YEAH! After all, the song is a HIT from the BIGGEST FEMALE ARTIST EVERRRRRRRRR!!! MARIAH CAREY!!! So oh oh obsessed obsessed obsessed
Edwin Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:35 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:35 PM Haha please, child. I'd rather listen to Whitney after she has spent the night snorting coke than to MC on a good day
Claudette Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:38 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:38 PM (edited) Cristina, you're good. I'm talking about people like I Love You here who can't post like a grown woman. Apparantly I know s*** about her and Celine is not on a pedal stool That is one smelly post I tell you. She, however, knows other members and their relationship with Celine because according to her we're not even fans. It is also ok for her to say who puts Celine on a pedestal, but we are not aloud. dj4celine Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:46 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 10:46 PM EdwinO, that's with B O O T Y and not :botoy: See, that's what happens when you diss the eternally 12, Miss Mariah Carey!
sfbaysinger Posted January 30, 2012 at 11:00 PM Posted January 30, 2012 at 11:00 PM Well now I do pick Mariah over Whitney, crack or not, anyday. Sorry. But I don't think either one of them is the best-selling female artist ever. But LOL, eternally 12! You people rock! L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!
