I'm glad Celine did it because she brought Etta's music, at least one song which is a good start and introduction to her, to a whole other new demographic that may not have heard of her. RIP ETTA!!! Both the House and the Senate on Friday backed away from a pair of controversial anti-piracy bills, tossing them into limbo and throwing doubt on their future viability. The Senate had been scheduled to hold a proceedural vote next week on whether to take up the Protect IP Act (PIPA) -- a bill that once had widespread, bipartisan support. But on Friday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he was postponing the vote "in light of recent events." Meanwhile, the House of Representatives said it is putting on hold its version of the bill, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). The House will "postpone consideration of the legislation until there is wider agreement on a solution," House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith said in a written statement. “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png

riobeard11 Posted January 21, 2012 at 03:52 AM Posted January 21, 2012 at 03:52 AM (edited) Watching TCWT DVD while getting ready (as per usual) and I have to say that when I went to this concert for the first time I was most surprised during the transition to Eyes On Me. I didn't expect that song to be next at ALL and I love the tour version. Was I the only one who was so oblivious during that transition? When she popped up from the stage and the sitar sound began I was like "ohhhhhh!!!" ALSO! I really want to play on that stage. It's so much fun with all of the different elevators and treadmills!
