Just finished watching Marley and Me... :crybaby: I so need to be with my dog right now  Missing him so much !!! :friends: And he's 12 years old already... :(

Awww, Fer, that's a really sad movie. Every time I watch it I cry. And it doesn't help that I have a yellow lab that looks exactly like Marley. I miss my dog, too. He lives up with my mom in San Francisco. :(

 Math is not useless, it is probably the only subject you will use in your adult life, plus it is a beautiful thing. :P

Took these pictures in Cape Town last weekend. The seal did a little pose for me. :giggle: This is one of the spots Celine and her family visited when they were here and I'm almost 100% sure that is the boat they used.

Don't know if anyone is interested but I wrote this up and thought I'd post it....

My night at the Luke Bryan concert with my friend Chastity was awesome! We arrived around four because I was unable to leave till my second class was over. Chastity and her husband picked me up at the student center on campus and then we went to wal mart to pick up a memory card for her camera. (Turns out later the memory card wouldn't work.) We went to the civic center after this and saw a few people lined up so we walked just down the street to Wendy's and grabbed something to eat to take back with us. We lined up in front of the one the doors that didn't have anyone else in line so we were first. Another girl came and sat behind us. We talked to her for awhile and took turns holding each other places in line when one of us had to leave. We were there about two and a half hours before they opened the doors and when they opened them instead of having enough people there to open ALL the doors at once to leave the massive amount of people lined up at each door, they opened ONE at a time. Which was not smart, the people literally started running and pushing to get in the one door and Chastity was almost knocked over. They were very rude. Then once we got inside and lined up for them to scan our tickets these two girls in front of us started sneaking their friends up with them and so it went from a couple people in front of us to like half a dozen. We were not happy, again this would NOT have happened at Sugarland.

Anyway, they made us stand there for ages before they let us in the doors to the seats. That was another nightmare, because once again everyone started shoving and running and being very rude. Chastity headed for the pit to get us a spot up front and I went for the merch stand to buy a t shirt quickly. I was the first person there so it only took a few seconds for me to get a shirt and go meet her but the front of the pit at the stage was full but Chas saved me a spot. The first opening act Matt Mason came out at six o'clock and he was really good, he said he was a little nervous. He played a pretty long set, he even played 'Country Roads' which is a well known song for us in WV and many others as well. Next was Josh Thompson he sang 'Country Boy Can Survive' and a few of his own songs including the hit 'Way Out Here' the next opening act was Lee Brice. He did a lot of rock songs and some of his own he even sang the song 'Crazy Girl' which he helped write and then his last song was 'Love Like Crazy' he was amazing. In between Lee and Luke we had sometime to wait so we were standing in the pit and all the sudden I turn around and there is a little girl probably 8 or 9 beside me and the woman I assume was her mother. I have no idea how they got there but they weren't there when we first got in the pit. Anyway this was the second scary moment of the night besides all the pushing and shoving. Just before Luke came out the woman with the little girl got into a fight with another woman in the pit. I don't know how the fight started, what it was over or anything I just know I turned around and these two women were shouting at each other and shoving and the woman with the kid was trying to hit the other woman. Well she ended up hitting her own kid in the face. I was furious.

Immediately I tried my best to move the little girl out of the way of the fight because she was clearly scared to death but this woman with her had a hold of her while still trying to fight this woman and then some guy showed up and tried to get in the middle of it. I assume he was the boyfriend of the second woman. I'm pretty sure he had a few too many beers, but anyway they were trying to fight and all I was concerned with was making sure this little girl didn't get hurt. I was trying to cover her face with my hand so she didn't get hit again and security who was behind the barricade weren't really doing anything. One of them kept like hugging the blonde with the kid and talking to her, they did nothing to stop the fight and the lights weren't on so it was hard to see. But I made sure the little girl was okay and she got her spot back beside me up front. I was shaking standing there because these two women during the fight when I was trying to get the little girl out of the way were shoving me into Chastity and I was trying to back away from them. Chastity and I both were trying to keep the little girl from getting hurt again which would have worked better had the woman let go of her and stopped trying to fight this woman while she had a hold of her kid. Once the fight settled down Chastity asked if I was okay and I nodded that I was. I was kind of shaken up but I was more worried about the little girl who ended up in tears because of the fight.

I told my aunt this today and she just chewed me out and told me I was stupid for trying to protect the little girl. Well gee I'm sorry but I was more concerned about these two women and guy hurting that little girl again than I was about getting hit by one of them. I might be small but I'm an adult I could have handled myself if any of them had taken a swing at me. I would rather have had them hit me than that little girl. Sorry for being protective of a child. I know my aunt didn't agree with what I did but it was the right thing trying to make sure that little girl didn't get hurt. The women that were fighting were too busy yelling at each other to have even noticed me or the fact I was trying to keep the little girl out of the way. With the fight over with and the little girl unharmed other than being a little shaken up and some tears it was almost time for Luke. Over at the side of the stage you could see Luke's little boy Bo and his wife in some of the empty seats and Bo was rocking out to the rock music that was playing and doing air drums and waving at the crowd a long with his mom. I recorded a few seconds of him drumming and waving at us. It was really cute. it wasn't long before Luke came out and the show started. He opened with 'Someone Else Callin' You Baby'. He put on a really really great show, did some songs I never expected him to like Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance'. He was really interactive with the audience and even brought one fan(drunk of course) on stage and had him dance during 'Country Girl'. He even lifted up the stairs on the stage and took them out on the walk way to stand on. It was a very good show and I would love to see him again but minus the very drunk, very rude, pushy and mean fans and the fighting.

Oh, he's gorgeous! We have always had German Shepherds in my family, though not for another 6 years now anymore.. But it's always been my "favourite" breed for that reason. ;) They are great dogs. :)

I'm home. My cabby sucked. He got me lost and I had to end up walking home and balling like a baby at the next-door neighbor when I got close enough. I may never leave the house again. Okay, not quite that dramatic, but this day is getting old so fast and I can't wait for it to be done!
