Just searching through videos and such. I came across a video that I liked, and on the sidebar, there was a video posted by a family/mom. So I clicked on it. About 10 seconds into the video I started bawling my eyes out. This kid's mom (his name is Seth Walsh) was reading a f****** suicide note from her 13-YEAR-OLD son. The reason he committed suicide was because he was being bullied for being gay. This young, sweet, adorable boy decided to hang himself from their f****** plum tree in their back yard. Now, although it made me extremely sad, I also got extremely pissed off and it made me very mad, and I had to hold myself back from punching something or throwing my cell phone against the wall because my Dad is sleeping. Otherwise, I would have done it. BULLYING (OF ANY SORT) just needs to STOP!! And I am sure it is not only a California/United States thing, I honestly think that it's a worldwide global thing. Maybe not being bullied because a person's gay, but it could be anything from looks to a person's weight to a person being autistic or having some sort of mental disorder. (Which I also find f****** disgusting.) Videos like this really piss me the f*** off and if I could, I would stop bullying single handedly. I'm sorry for ranting, s*** like this really pisses me the f*** off. I swear, if I EVER come across a person who's bullying anyone, whether I know them or not, they better get ready to run as fast as they can, because they are going to get it from me. Even if I get hurt back. Anyway, I love you all very much, know that. And please, if any of you here on CDF have suicidal thoughts, I am here for you (as the rest of us are as well, I'm sure). It's awful when it comes to that point that someone doesn't see any other way out anymore, than committing a suicide. It's really sad. Especially if it's because someone is bullying you!! It is just sick, the way kids or young people (well actually people just in general) can be to each other. And the reasons for which someone is being bullied, are usually SO STUPID!! I mean of course they are always stupid, there is NO reason that would justify bullying, but it's just unbelievable the reasons that kids may start bullying.. I was also bullied in junior high, for about 2,5 years, and it all started because I happened to be a fan of a "wrong" pop group.... It's just crazy!!! Luckily I had friends also, that I had made before, so that I survived. Actually me and my best friend were both bullied by this group of girls. And I am 100 % sure that's one reason that has affected my nature, I mean that I still sometimes feel like some people "hate" me, or look me in a bad way etc. etc. Anyway, so much for that, but yeah, bullying in school (or elsewhere) is something that everyone should fight against!! It is really awful that a LIFE is lost, because of bullying... And I do have personal experience with bullying being the nerdy little gay boy who was dedicated to being first chair violin all through my middle/high school years. The point I was trying to make is that people can't sit around and mope about something a very insecure person (a bully) says to you. Ignoring them and showing that they are not making any difference in your life is the best way to make them leave you alone and stop what they're doing. Anyway! Do we know yet how long Celine is staying in NYC? I know they said she's doing a handful of shows, but it looks like she's made her rounds pretty quickly so far! I kinda agree that the best way might be to ignore the bullies and not let if affect you. Though sometimes the situations are just more severe, that simply ignoring the bullies might not work.. I think it always depends on a particular situation.
