NO... when you see people from 1991, 1996 or 1999 register on the forum, that is when you start to feel ancient!!! Wow! All these truths are FINALLY on her for people to read!!! It's beautiful and sad! LOL First of all, (actually, d'abord c'est quoi l'amour?) I'd like to point out that many things are obvious---and if some people feel labeled, maybe there's a reason for it. Secondly, the fan meeting was sadly a bust and a half. It was spent waiting for something to happen. The flashmob was an absolute disaster and a waste of time (surely we could have watched something entertaining instead!) But the important thing was meeting some of you wonderful people. Was there disappointment? Hell yes! Some people turned out to be rude, a stick in the mud, or the opposite of what they seem online! Some people turned out to be so stuffy and snobbish as if they were Celine's premiere fans that sat down with Thérèse Dion to write "Ce n’était qu'un rêve." Let's not forget the good parts! The best part of the fan meeting was walking with the Johns, Davey, and Tyler to the CD Store and us all being nerds in the store. It was so cool!!! Then at the lunch we had some great talks. I loved that part. Thirdly, and more importantly, I met some people who I will treasure for the rest of my life at the meeting. I'd always appreciated Davey, Joe, and John online---but in person they turned out to be exactly what they seemed to be online and even more. These are friendships that I hope will last a lifetime. I will never forget the feeling of being able to discuss the Queen of music with these marvelous people. We know every little stupid detail, be it the sexy "Think Twice" Japanese Single cover or the tardiness of the US IDAN single. You people rocked my f****** socks off and I can't freakin' wait to get together and do it all again. It was so much fun talking about the show after we all witnessed the premiere. It was history in the making and notre histoire a nous. Damn distances, time zones, and expensive SMS' abroad! While I don't see myself going back for such a big fan gathering, I sure as hope to meet many of you and to get together with my friends again before "Celine" ends. There's my 99 cents. Yes I totally agree, there were some good parts too! I had fun talking to you all, but we could have done that on our own too, which would have been a lot cheaper! Get whatsapp!! What I dont understand is why the meeting in Vegas has stopped people from posting here? I dont get it, maybe thats cause i wasnt there. Or else its cause there is no real Celine news at the moment. I bet if something big happened everyone would come pouring back. I think a lot of people stopped posting way before Vegas. At least I did. Well there are plenty of people who had an amazing time too so I guess it just depended on communication and location, attitudes, etc. All I have heard until now were great positive things so I'm not quite sure what to make of it but I'm happy that we had a fan meeting and I had a great time with all of you. I'm sorry some of you had unpleasant experiences It's really good to hear that! Of course the negative opinions are always louder, but I'm glad at least some people had a good time. And can I just say that a lot of hard work and money went into the meeting!! I know we all have our opinions and this is a forum of opinions but it's not a very nice 'thank you' for the work and expense to bash it all to hell! the only good thing I can see coming from this is how to make it better next time around. Yes, a lot of work and money went into the meeting and I'm thankful for the whole team for the effort, but even as a team member (I know didn't have that big of a role as I was busy whole year in advance and poor as hell.) I was lost and didn't know what was going on and what was going to happen at times. Plus the whole flash mob ordeal and a couple of other things, that I thought would be happening, didn't happen or didn't go as planned. Sadly. BUT I'm still happy to have met everyone and just hope most people had a nice experience. And I'm sure my experience would've been different if I had been just a guest or if I had been more organized and involved in the planning. As much as I want to I can't really see myself attending, or at least not taking part in the organizing in the future. Hopefully no one got a bad image of me at the meeting as I didn't really have time to talk to that many people or socialize with you guys. I know this probably isn't the right place, but thank you to everyone who participated and hopefully everyone has even one little positive thing they remember about the meeting.

Though it's at another gym cause the step class at my gym was cancelled today cause non of the instructors were available.... But it's a step class anyways, so yay! And I'm still high from the half marathon last weekend! It was so AWESOME!!!
