Bralo20 Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:01 AM Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:01 AM (edited) My flight from NYC to Vegas has one stop so does that mean I do not need to pick up the luggages? Nope, normally you shouldn't pick up your luggage... AFAIK it's only when a plane with a departure from outside the US lands in the US that every piece of luggage (for connecting passengers) needs to be picked up and placed on another carrousel (this all happens inside the terminal, and only for connecting flights from international departures and happens before the TSA screening for the connecting flight). Claudette Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:03 AM Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:03 AM I think I'm going We call it aging. I did have some bad luck the last few months, maybe that is why you think that. Bralo20 Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:18 AM Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:18 AM Also I'm not sure about arrive at SLC on 13:10 and take DL1783 on 13:57. Not sure if it's enough time for connection. Will they transfer my luggages auto? The minimum connection times: [KVS Availability Tool 6.0.4/Diamond - Reference: Minimum Connection Time [MCT]: SLC/DL-DL] DD DI ID II STANDARD: SLC 040 060 060 060 DL-DL ONLINE SLC 030 030 055 055 EXCEPTIONS: A/L FLT-NBR AREA DL --- 030 030 --- DL 7980-8119 DL 7980-8119 --- --- 030 --- DL DL CA 040 045 --- --- DL **END OF DISPLAY** So according to the table above there's a minimal connection time of 30 minutes (row DL-DL, colum DD) (DL-DL = from Delta to Delta, DD = Domestic to Domestic) So you should be fine if your flight arrives on time ...

Claudette Posted January 21, 2011 at 02:35 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 02:35 PM (edited) I had to go to campus today to sign some forms and stuff, so I decided what the heck, it is Friday and the university is not officially open yet, I'm gonna put on my HUGE Celine T-shirt. Got some funny looks. The one lady said: ''Oh wow, Celine would love you when she sees you with that shirt.'' Then I went to some hardware store on my way back to get some stuff for a glass shelve I want to put in my room and ''I'm Alive'' starts playing on the radio. So the guy working there starts laughing and points at my T-shirt. Davey, my mentor wants me to do an exchange program with Amsterdam at the end of the year or next year for two months. So I might come and visit you soon. I have to submit some of my articles and research, so hopefully I will get a chance. Belle Céline Posted January 21, 2011 at 02:47 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 02:47 PM my dad wakes me up like ten minutes before it's time to leave and asks me what it means when my college is on a two hour delay. It doesn't mean crap for me it just means classes at 8 and 9 aren't meeting. Anything after that is happening at the time it's supposed to. So my class at 10 is still meeting. I get up look out and the roads don't look to bad from what I can see so I go get dressed thinking he's going to take me to class. I walk in the kitchen after I get dressed and he looks at me and wants to know what I'm doing. I was like "Well aren't you taking me to class?" He gets pissed and starts complaining about snow and ice on the truck and the roads being slick. So I was like "Forget it, my professor already emailed us the assignment I'll just tell her I can't make it again because of the roads." Don't you just love cranky parents who get mad at you when it's not your fault. If he'd woken me up earlier I could have told him what the delay means and I could have found out the roads were bad when my brother came in from work early this morning and that I wasn't going to class, I would have loved to have went back to sleep. “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
Edwin Posted January 21, 2011 at 03:47 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 03:47 PM It's Fridayyyyyyyyyyyy. Tomorrow I leave for St. Louis and on Sunday I am seeing Idina Menzel in concert woo hoo

Claudette Posted January 21, 2011 at 03:53 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 03:53 PM Hello drama!! I can't believe that mature people can act like that. I'm sure Celine would be so proud. http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
Belle Céline Posted January 21, 2011 at 05:27 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 05:27 PM Why does my older brother have to be so rude to me? Really it's not his money I'm going to be spending on Sugarland tickets for myself and my niece. I may even be able to buy his girlfriends ticket if my dad says I can. Yet he acts like it's a waste of his money because I want to use MY refund check for it. I won't even be using half of the check, probably less than a half actually. The rest will just be in the bank after I take out what I need. “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
dj4celine Posted January 21, 2011 at 06:00 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 06:00 PM Sigh! I feel so helpless when I can't decide what to do about certain things and certain people

dj4celine Posted January 21, 2011 at 06:33 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 06:33 PM Nothing as such, Alex, but thanks, bud It's all up to me to decide on certain things, and for Holy Mariah's boobies' sake, I can't seem to be able to make my freakin' mind up Good thing is, I have a day off tomorrow. No classes and I can just sit at home, relax and think over some stuff
Claudette Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:41 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:41 PM Got tickets for the 15th OMD! OMD! I can't believe it. Totally by accident! http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
Edwin Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:53 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 07:53 PM Congrats Claudette! Where is your seat?

Claudette Posted January 21, 2011 at 08:12 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 08:12 PM ORCH2, row H, seats 218-216. I went on celinedion.com and though I'm just gonna take a chance and see what happens. But I figured that I would get a ''sorry, no tickets available...'' like I've been getting the last month and this tickets just popped up. http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
ladylindsey Posted January 21, 2011 at 08:30 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 08:30 PM yay! ^^ those are closer than mine I got the first day of the sale!
Claudette Posted January 21, 2011 at 09:23 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 09:23 PM (edited) Unfortunately I am not having the same luck with our plane tickets. I can't get seats next to one another for us. I waited too long. I'm gonna phone them tomorrow and see if we can't sort something out. Edit: It is hard work booking all these stuff. I have a headache from staring at my computer screen and concentrating for the past 8 hours and I still haven't book plane tickets. I'm going to see Celine, but I have no idea how I'm getting there at the moment. I may have to hang onto a wing or something and jump with a parachute when we fly over Las Vegas... ladylindsey Posted January 21, 2011 at 10:33 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 10:33 PM Yeah we waited too long as well. We finally found something reasonable that would work for both my mom and I but it took a good 2 days of searching sites and then finally finding a sale price one day. It is frustrating for sure! Things happen the closer it gets, people may cancel and seats may become available- keep checking!
Belle Céline Posted January 21, 2011 at 10:33 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 10:33 PM I can't believe tickets for the first show weren't sold out already. I figured those woulda been gone in a matter of minutes. Glitter on the mattress.... I need to go finish my laundry.... “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
Edwin Posted January 21, 2011 at 10:35 PM Posted January 21, 2011 at 10:35 PM They will always 'hold' tickets and will re-lease blocks as needed. Heck on the day of show more tickets will be released and thats when I expect to get a nice seat upgrade
