Great, oh well guess that's where my boots will come in handy. I hate Tuesday's classes my class at 4 there is this guy who I'm not sure why but is constantly walking around talking to himself like out loud and everyone else can hear him, he has mounds and mounds of lose papers scattered all over his desk, he had backpacks full of books with him and is always interrupting the professor with these random history facts that have nothing to do usually with Japanese history which is the class we are in. My card got cut off when I was Christmas shopping this year because I was doing most of my shopping out of state at my Dad's house - I had to call the bank and let them know it was really me spending money. I was directed to them by a friend. Let me at least tell ya'll why I started that group.I was talking to a friend on skype, who is a fan from the UK that I have been friends with for many years.This topic came up and below is an exact copy of what we said.He gave me permission to post it here but I changed his name so he doesn't get implicated in anything.It's a VERY long conversation, but I couldn't really edit it, because that would take things out of context. He writes often on that thread though. Paul: The name calling is getting a lot worse too Jane: You noticed that too? Paul: Yes, but I don't understand why? You've never replied to their emails. You haven't even spoken to any of them since April last year and as far as I know, you haven't really done anything to deserve that kind of treatment? Jane: They're doing it just to try and make me back down from organizing Vegas stuff. Those are the tactics they have always used. First they tried to threaten me by saying they "had the rights to Celine" then they tried to spread lies about cdf.com to Celine's management. Paul: They did WHAT?? Jane: I got an email from a connection at Feelings that said they had called one of her colleagues to say that we were lying about how many people we had in our group and that we were only doing it for profit and a couple of other stupid things. No big deal. My friend said they have their eyes on them now. Paul: B******! You don't deserve that after everything you've done for the fans. Jane: Watch it !! That's what they've been calling me. Let's not play their game Paul: I disagree. It's time to fight back. Jane: I don't want to fight. Paul: Well you can't just stand there and take such abuse Jane: Just 2 months left and will all be over Paul: You really think they will stop after Vegas? Jane: I don't care. I'm out. Paul: So they win? Jane: Me no care !!!! Paul: You at least have to let people know what's really going on. Jane: People don't care. Paul: Of course your friends care for you Jane: Nobody wants to get involved Paul: How do you know that until you try? You know what you should do? Jane: What? Paul: Start a facebook group to tell people the truth. Jane: I won't give information that was given to me in PMs or emails. That's what they do. Make screencaps of PMs from people that disagree with them. It's seriously low !!! Paul: You don't have to make screencaps of emails, but you CAN make them of things they have said on their forum. That's open to the public. Anyone can see it. Jane: What would that accomplish? Everyone would just think I was trying to start a war. Paul: Give your friends some credit. They will defend you. Jane: I don't need defending. OK, maybe I do, coz 10 months of threats and name-calling is a little too much to handle L But I don't want people to think that they have to come to my rescue. Paul: Well I think they should at least be told the truth so they can make up their own minds. Jane: Making a facebook group would just allow those black heads to come in and do exactly what they have been doing for a year. Paul: Good let them. Let people see their true colours as you like to say Jane: Who's to say that people won't just read their thread and believe all their lies and manipulation? We might be sending people TO them instead of against them. Paul: Then people are stupid and I give up to Jane: Well, it's not that they're stupid, but most of them do seem to walk around with rose tinted glasses on. They will see things differently to us. Paul: How? Jane: We see a small group of kids telling lies, manipulating people, trashing people and totally abusing the power these people give them. Most people will just ignore that and see a group of fans making videos, selling books and caps and shirts, and organizing fan gatherings. They really don't care to hear the full story. They avoid having to take sides. For me it's not about taking sides, it's about having a back bone!! Ignorance really IS bliss. Honestly, I wish I had that luxury, so I could just get about my business. I have so much to do for the fan meeting. At least I know my friends are grateful for the work I do, because I have received a few emails from them to say thank you J Paul: Your wrong people are not that naïve Jane: Yes they are. Not just that. They mostly really just don't care. All they want is Celine and to meet Celine friends. Nobody is going to care that us organizers have been treated so badly by these black heads. I can hear it right now "I just want to see Celine and make new friends. I don't want to fight. Let's just all be friends" I tried that. Those people don't want friends. They want money and power. We had detailed plans of how we could all work together, but they were not at all interested in that. You saw them !! Paul: How can they not care? How can they ignore it? They can look on the black heads forum C C and see for themselves that those "black heads" have called you a wh*** and a b**** and have said that your plans are crap and you will fail. And what about the times they have pushed other fans in Montreal and kicked Celines car? I think people need to know Jane: Like I said, they don't care. They will just see it as us being bad people and not acting celine-like. Paul: All you are doing is showing them the truth Jane: OK darling, now YOU are being naïve. There might be a few people that will see them for what they really are and not support them, but all in all they will just ignore it or, even worse, see us as the baddies for making an open group just to show the dark side of those kids, because that is what I have been against all along: them making an open group to make people think that WE have a darkside in order to get more followers. Paul: Well then make it a closed group. Jane: What would that accomplish? Paul: Only the people that you invite will see the info so you can't be accused of "going public" with that info. Jane: No offense, but your plan stinks J Paul: Really? So you would rather just take all that abuse yourself and let your friends follow people that have been calling you a wh***, sl**, b**** etc ? Jane: What can I say, I'm super woman J Paul: Bull**** Jane: Nice friend you are Paul: Yes I am nice because I will defend you against those goddam brats Jane: We have to let people just make their own choices. I'm just organizing the events. That's what I do best. War is so not my thing. Paul: Yes, let people make their own choices, but they are not INFORMED choices, because you are not showing them the truth. Jane: Why should that be MY responsibility? The information is right there in front of their eyes. It's their choice whether they want to see it or not. Paul: They don't know that the information is there, because it's all in the French section, where most of your friends wouldn't look. That's why they put it ONLY in the French section. Jane: Good point L Paul: Do it Jane. Make a closed group and show people what they have said. What's the worst that could happen? Jane: People would hate me for stooping to the level of the BHs Paul: You're not afraid of being hated Jane: No, but if they hate me then they will say things like "you're making us choose sides. It's not fair on the fans yada yada yada" and they won't join our events, which I have worked my arse off this last year for. I've spent too much sweat, tears and money on it to let it fail. Actually, worse case scenario is they join those BHs Paul: They can't be that stupid. Once they've seen evidence that the BHs have called you those names and spoken about icdfm and the other organizers like they have then there is NO way they will keep following them. Jane: Of course they will. Because they think that they'll get special Celine info or surprises and crap like that. That's all people want. They don't care about how one person has treated another. Paul: Even if they're your friends? What if the roles were reversed? What if they were treating Lindsey like this? What if they called Lindsey a w**** or b****? Jane: They would never do that because Lindsey is too nice. Paul: And you're not nice? Jane: Not in the way the she is and not as much as she is. They know I will fight back. I might not like war, but I WILL defend myself if I have to. I've never gone out and looked for trouble. Everything I've done is in defense !!! Paul: Do you think your other friends would defend Lindsey? Jane: Of course. Paul: But not you? Jane: I doubt it. Paul: I'm beginning to think you have low self esteem? Jane: Don't change the subject. Paul: You know, I've noticed a change in you over the last year. I've even heard you cry on the phone over the death threats they've sent you, which is not you. You may deny it, but they are getting to you. Stop trying to be super woman and let your friends stand by your side. Jane: There might be a hand full of people that will actually care, but most will either ignore it or turn on me and start calling me names just like the BHs. Paul: You will never know unless you make that group Jane: Will you stop harrassing me if I do it? Paul: Sure. Why not? Let's go with that Jane: Fine !!! I'll do it, but I'm blaming YOU if it comes back to bite me in the arse !!! Paul: I can take it like a man J No doubt this will offend a couple of you, but you really need to look past that and see that we really did have good reason to make the group. At least we thought we did. We can't help but be angry when treated in such a way.I'm sorry for all the "spam" that people got too So the group has been deleted and we can just get on with our lives !! I Jane! Jane, I know you have worked hard and done amazing job organizing the events for the premiere in Vegas. I left the Vegas discussion...it was just way too hard to read all those excited posts when I knew I had to skip the premiere. But if there's still anything I can do for you and for all the fans...let me know!
