Belle Céline Posted January 20, 2011 at 04:08 PM Posted January 20, 2011 at 04:08 PM (edited) I really hope we don't get 6 to 10 hours of snow like they are calling for. I don't even want to guess at how many inches of snow that could accumulate. I hate winter. It's to cold Glitter on the mattress, glitter on the highway, glitter on the front porch, glitter on the highway....the love shack is a little old place where we can get together, love shack baby... Will they transfer my luggages auto? I'll check the minimal connection times for you tomorrow at the office (the software I have to connect to the GDS works only on Wintendo), I can look it up into the system what the minimal required time for connections is. But if you booked your ticket in one (thus not every leg separate) it should be ok. Regarding your luggage. When you "land" in the USA (SEA) you'll need to pickup your luggage and put it on another carrousel (most likely a couple of meters further, this is done to give you the opportunity to place your tax free items in your luggage. Normally when you land in SLC you'll probably don't need to pick up your luggage since it's a domestic connecting flight instead of an incoming international flight. The picking up from your luggage has only be done when you "land" in the USA, not when you leave and normally also not for connecting domestic flights so you don't need to worry about that in SLC. ...

That's what I thought how it could work. I book all the flights as one ticket at Delta.com. So I don't even need to pay baggage fee. Will the first and second bag fees be charged to International passengers that have connections/stopovers within the U.S.?For international customers making a connection/stopover to or from the U.S., or at a later date during their travel within the U.S. on the same itinerary, international fees and rules apply. If an international customer comes to the U.S. and travels domestically on a separate ticket, domestic rules will apply. Koolan Posted January 20, 2011 at 08:46 PM Author Posted January 20, 2011 at 08:46 PM Our last show is also the 19th. Tore a second left contact lense. Nice! Gonna cost me a trip to the optometrist. And I can't get new lenses with this prescription because I'm due for an eye test. My left lense tore on Saturday while we were at the mall and I didn't have spare lenses with me or my glasses (HATE them, never wear them), so I couldn't do anything. So there I was walking with only one eye. I couldn't take the other one out too because then I am practically blind. I was driving and my mom was with me. She almost had a heart attack. She's like: ''Claudette, are you sure you can drive? Maybe I should drive.'' I'm like: ''Mom relax, I am fine.'' But I was driving on feeling because I had a bit of trouble getting the distances and deph right.Should I label you as Clumsy-Claudette from now on? Its banned?! But why, and since when? Spam related, I think the admin/owner is even banned here. The picking up from your luggage has only be done when you "land" in the USA, not when you leave and normally also not for connecting domestic flights so you don't need to worry about that in SLC.My flight from NYC to Vegas has one stop so does that mean I do not need to pick up the luggages? Vic i'm impressed with your Spanish I forgot most of it but a translator sure helps. Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Claudette Posted January 20, 2011 at 09:03 PM Posted January 20, 2011 at 09:03 PM (edited) Should I label you as Clumsy-Claudette from now on? What does clumsyness have to do with tearing a contact lense? It is not my fault they make them from tissue paper or something. They tear by themselves. One moment the lense is in my eye and another moment one half falls out. I'll have you know, I got a dress for Vegas and got us home in one piece with only one eye. ladylindsey Posted January 20, 2011 at 09:07 PM Posted January 20, 2011 at 09:07 PM Vic I don't think you have to pick up your luggage in-between US flights. It's been my experience that they just send it on through, but coming back from another country you have to go through customs again, etc. When we flew from Nashville to Chicago to London we didn't see our luggage until London again. But coming home from Paris to Chicago to Nashville, we had to pick it up in Chicago and take it to the trolley to get reloaded.
