I don't eat a lot in the morning. Only a sandwhich and a glass of milk. When I get to work, I drink tea

And in the evening I'd like to drink tea too... And yeah warm meals need cold drinks! But for some reason I always can coke when I'm eating tomato soup!

 

That's just plain weird. Only for that particular flavour soup? That's probably some weird childhood association that has just stuck with you.

We get temperatures beween 30 and 40 in summer, so yeah that is a bit cold. I would not say freezing, but there is a bite in the air and we would normally wear a jacket or warmer clothes. Not full on scarfs and wool jackets, but a bit warmer... Edited December 2, 2010 at 12:49 PM by Claudette

For me it'll be even worse; I'll be going from around an average of 7 °C here to 20 °C in Vegas and then around 5 °C in New York!

Yeah I know! When we got back from Vegas in 2007, we had to pay 25 dollars extra per suitcase cos of the weight! LOL

Anyone wanna go to NYC after the shows? I so wanna go to NYC, but can't afford hotel cost alone. I hope I can find someone split the hotel cost. BTW, NYC hotels are much more expensive than LV.

I know the last time I was in Vegas it was November and the wind was fecking brutal and very cold, it was fleeces all week. But we at least had an idea that it was going to be like that so I packed accordingly. But this time I really want some sunshine, 20 Celsius would be fine thank you very much, but nothing less than that.

 

I'm planning on wearing a suit for the premiere, and a selection of muumuu's for the rest of the week. Top tip though: Whenever I'm unsure of what to put on for something special I think to myself "what would Bea Arthur wear on an occasion like this. Works a treat, you'll always make an impact!!

When I was in LV in March 2003 I thought it was seriously hot haha. My sister wore a top and I a t-shirt the whole time. But then again, I'm from Iceland and 20°c is HOT for me !

 

In December 2003 it was nice fall weather, wore a sweater. It did snow a little though.. but melted right away.

Do you guys think blue highlights will take on dark brown hair? I want to do it for the holidays. I did pink when Celine was in SA, but it didn't take, and I don't want to waste my money again. Has anybody tried blue before?

Hmmm I think if your hair is really dark brown you won't see it, unless you treat your hair with hydrogen peroxide; you'll decoulour it totally... but then again adding blue might turn it green
