But of course! http://www.brocantemarkt.nl/images/schaatsklomp.jpg I don't eat a lot in the morning. Only a sandwhich and a glass of milk. Claudette Posted December 2, 2010 at 10:25 AM Posted December 2, 2010 at 10:25 AM (edited) My grandma had a pair that almost looked like that. When I was still in school, I use to visit her during the holidays and I would put it on and walk with it in the hallway... klonk klonk... I drove her crazy. Claudette Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:02 AM Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:02 AM (edited) I think somebody brought it back for her like a gazillion years ago. I remember it was way too big for me... Those were the days... where does the time go... Edited December 2, 2010 at 11:03 AM by Claudette http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
J-Man Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:02 AM Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:02 AM Hahaha that you even felt you had to tell us that D. The notion of you wearing those things is hilarious. I don't imagine Frida would ever speak to you again if you had a pair! Okay people I'm going to be brave and get out of bed. Hopefully a hot shower will invigorate me enough to start Thursday the 2nd. It's 11 am already. http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png
Davey84 Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:25 AM Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:25 AM well I was thinking of wearing these to the premiere: shame on you John! I got up at 7.10 this morning!! Claudette Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:43 AM Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:43 AM (edited) Oh those are lovely. What about a shocking lime green? Speaking of which, what is the weather like that time of year in Vegas and what is the dress code? Formal? Davey84 Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:58 AM Posted December 2, 2010 at 11:58 AM No... I'd prefer to support the few gays in Vegas It's warm in vegas, but not terrible hot; 69.5°F/ 20,83°C http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas,_Nevada#Climate For the dress code you mean the shows or in general? For the show I'd say casual/ formal and for the rest... everything but formal! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

Claudette Posted December 2, 2010 at 12:26 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 12:26 PM 20 is a bit cold for those of us coming from the warmer climates. So I guess autumn/early winter clothes will do. Yeah, I meant the show, so semi-casual then. I imagine Vegas gets a bit out of hand sometimes... I wonder if Lindsey is still planning on wearing the big version of that froggie babygrow to the premiere.... http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
Davey84 Posted December 2, 2010 at 12:34 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 12:34 PM 20 is a bit cold for those of us coming from the warmer climates. So I guess autumn/early winter clothes will do. well I don't know what you count as autumn/early winter clothes.... but when it's around 20 here, everybody's in a t-shirt and short pants/ skirts! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
Claudette Posted December 2, 2010 at 12:45 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 12:45 PM (edited) We get temperatures beween 30 and 40 in summer, so yeah that is a bit cold. I would not say freezing, but there is a bite in the air and we would normally wear a jacket or warmer clothes. Not full on scarfs and wool jackets, but a bit warmer... Davey84 Posted December 2, 2010 at 12:51 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 12:51 PM Hmm ok, then i can understand you find it a bit chilly! For me it'll be even worse; I'll be going from around an average of 7 °C here to 20 °C in Vegas and then around 5 °C in New York! What to take with me!? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
Claudette Posted December 2, 2010 at 01:01 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 01:01 PM Yeah that is a bit of a problem. And if your luggage is overweight, you have to pay extra at some of the airports. That is what is worrying me at the moment... We want to spend a few days in L.A, but we'll see... http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
Davey84 Posted December 2, 2010 at 01:08 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 01:08 PM Yeah I know! When we got back from Vegas in 2007, we had to pay 25 dollars extra per suitcase cos of the weight! LOL OOh you should do it! You're very near when you're in LV! It'd be a shame not to go! I remember L.A. Seems a lifetime ago We were stars on Sunset Boulevard What a movie we made There were days in the sun That have stayed forever young Nights when passion was invincible We thought love would never die http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

Krys Posted December 2, 2010 at 02:33 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 02:33 PM I hit the pay button without even knowing how much shipping was going to be. I shouldn't be allowed to shop online It was all worth it though
Claudette Posted December 2, 2010 at 02:38 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 02:38 PM (edited) They just played ''Feliz Navidad'' for the first time this year. I swear they play it a gazillion times every year even though they have some of the other songs from TATST on their playlist too. This year I'm sending them an e-mail to tell them that she has other Christmas songs too... On another note, I just broke my shirt's strap. At least I'm alone at the moment... I think I need to go back to bed and start over tomorrow... Edited December 2, 2010 at 02:41 PM by Claudette http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg

That is what is worrying me at the moment... We want to spend a few days in L.A, but we'll see...Anyone wanna go to NYC after the shows? I so wanna go to NYC, but can't afford hotel cost alone. I hope I can find someone split the hotel cost. BTW, NYC hotels are much more expensive than LV. Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
J-Man Posted December 2, 2010 at 02:52 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 02:52 PM I know the last time I was in Vegas it was November and the wind was fecking brutal and very cold, it was fleeces all week. But we at least had an idea that it was going to be like that so I packed accordingly. But this time I really want some sunshine, 20 Celsius would be fine thank you very much, but nothing less than that. I'm planning on wearing a suit for the premiere, and a selection of muumuu's for the rest of the week. Top tip though: Whenever I'm unsure of what to put on for something special I think to myself "what would Bea Arthur wear on an occasion like this. Works a treat, you'll always make an impact!! http://cdn1.iofferphoto.com/img/item/137/065/581/9bT13KMZsO9SRmP.jpg http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png

angelil78 Posted December 2, 2010 at 05:18 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 05:18 PM Vic: Sorry I didn't know. I guess Celine's tour DVD was not nominated then? Ugh I felt aweful again last night for some reason, I went to bed just after 9 and then woke up a hundred times again through the night. Edit: Now I'm really getting nervous about waiting to buy my airline tickets... I am buying mine tomorrow or early next week. Oh those are lovely. What about a shocking lime green? Speaking of which, what is the weather like that time of year in Vegas and what is the dress code? Formal? When I was in LV in March 2003 I thought it was seriously hot haha. My sister wore a top and I a t-shirt the whole time. But then again, I'm from Iceland and 20°c is HOT for me ! In December 2003 it was nice fall weather, wore a sweater. It did snow a little though.. but melted right away. we have our Christmas party next week: snow shoe walking in the dark forrest with headlamps and hip flasks...lol..then spa and dinner...and lots of drinking!! wootay..can't wait!! Oooh, that is soo Scandanavian. Have fun! I am going to a christmas party on saturday Pre party first and then christmas dinner and party afterwards wooohoooo bring on the foooood (and boooze)
Claudette Posted December 2, 2010 at 05:44 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 05:44 PM Do you guys think blue highlights will take on dark brown hair? I want to do it for the holidays. I did pink when Celine was in SA, but it didn't take, and I don't want to waste my money again. Has anybody tried blue before? http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
Davey84 Posted December 2, 2010 at 05:48 PM Posted December 2, 2010 at 05:48 PM Hmmm I think if your hair is really dark brown you won't see it, unless you treat your hair with hydrogen peroxide; you'll decoulour it totally... but then again adding blue might turn it green Dhruv, it's going to be rough times for you, if you wanna live in Germany :P http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
