Maybe I am very mean, but I cannot tell you guys how much pleasure I get out of placing a Maths exam infront of a student and seeing the fear on his/her face.

 

It is sad to think that even with an education it is hard to find a decent job these days. I am fortunate enough to have some tutor jobs and I sometimes help with marking and invigilating, while I finish my PhD. But I have no clue what I'm gonna do once I'm finished.

I studied Management, Economic and Law (BA) and Culture, Organization and Management (Msc)!

One student just put up his hand and said that when he turned the page the solution was written in. It looks like his pen and handwriting, but he can't remember whether or not he did it.

No, not really, and it's really difficult finding a right job at the moment!

It's facking irritating! Everywhere they claim they need to hire young talented people, because a lot of people will retire soon, but for every vacancy they ask 5 years of exact work experience!

Finished my 4 assignments and turned them in, now I just gotta finish the last 5 CJI simulations for class and I will be free today and tomorrow unforunately Sunday I have to be up at the @$$ crack of dawn to go do community service for my outdoor rec class. I hate getting up early.

I have a B.S. and a B.F.A. (fine arts)

 

It's quite ironic. I would have done much better by stopping with the first degree and immediately going into work. But no. I wanted to get a more intensive degree in fine arts so that I could know exactly what I was doing and get a great job.....what in the world! It's all backwards. Firms aren't doing as much business bc of the economy (people aren't building or re-designing their businesses now) so they are letting go everyone except for the senior designers. If they need an additional designer, they want one that has 5-10 years exp. I wish someone would want an enthusiastic creative, fresh out of school designer with big ideas!

Lindsey, with that degree, you'd get one heck of a job here in one of the many design firms. But I guess it's just of the economy. It'll pass away soon and you'll get a good job

Have to go back to the doctor for the last time tomorrow so he can make sure now that the swelling and bruising are gone that the muscles healed completely and that there is no other damage. I so don't want to go and I'm considering blowing it off.
