In October last year a couple of members decided to arrange a baby gift of some sort, a way of showing our love and support to the growing Angelil-Dion family. What we decided to do was a baby quilt, made by fabric sent by fans from all over the world, and on the back there would be a short embroidered message followed by our names. Imagine our delight when we realized we would have to make TWO! Well, we have enough fabric by now but we can never have enough participants, would you like to get your name on the quilt(s) and join the celebration? Here's how to do it: 1) Donate $10 to CF2 ($5 per baby, Celine's lucky number). If you can you're more than welcome to donate more than that, it's for a very good cause (Celine's foundation). 2) Forward the PayPal receipt (or send a screenshot of it) to me (send me a PM to get my email). It's very important that you do this since I'm not one of the "CF2-people". 3) Once I've gotten your email I will put your name on the list (it will be embroidered on both quilts). All fabrics are cut into several long strips, sewn together with strips of other fabrics, and then cut horizontal. I know it sounds like a lot, but it's easier to work with (and most shops won't let you buy any less than a fat quarter/long quarter anyway. They're usually no more than £1.50-3 each). I'll find a way to use as much of the fabrics as possible so that nothing goes to waste I don't quite understand it... but I'd love to be a part of it I'm guessing it's the word 'quilt' you're not familiar with? A quilt is a slightly padded coverlet or blanket, made by several (different) pieces of fabsic sewn together.
