I'm still waiting for 6 items from TeamCeline (TTEOTW and TCWT)!

 

Yea the TC programme was signed by Celine in person in June 2008 at the Munich Airport just after she had landed from Berlin We had been waiting for her at the private aviation Munich Airport, she landed, and a few minutes after, was in her big Audi A8 on the left, with René on the right, and took time to sign autographs from her car !! Ohhh it's wonderfull memories back

On this TC programme I also have other autographs (collected after the concerts I attended with other fans) from dancers and even from bodyguards (one of which said he would never do that again lol) and from "Lapin" the lighting director as well.

 

Yea the Collector's series sticker hides the logo, it was bought in Germany it's written "Love-Songs zum verlieben - mit Andrea Bocelli The Prayer" (Love songs to fall in Love). I don't think there is any other difference... Cat. no. is 500995 2.

 

Are u kidding, I hope my Ultimate Box is real, why would it be fake loool I bought it in 2008 at the time of the realease, from Cdjapan.co.jp. I did not know there were fake Utimate Boxes ? Who made them ? Are these fake Ultimate Boxes gonna be rarer than the real one ? lol

 

No my "La Voix du Bon Dieu" is real, and I've got the original first press release with it ("les productions René Angélil"). I suppose you're talking about the "Celine Dion chante Noël" CD ? Of course I know it's fake, but I have the real one on 33T LP I hope we'll have all the pre-sony albums released on CD one day... A big box with all of them would be nice! Or can't someone have them professionnally produced ? I suppose there would be legal problems with doing that

 

My "I'm alive 2009 remixes" is also fake, I was so disgusted, I bought it from Ebay and thought it was real... And had no time to protest and get reimbursed :-( Beware this seller is still selling what I think is a fake item !!

You've got some great stuff Olivier. Loving the ACDS box set and the signed TC programme. Was that done in person?

I see you have that Collector's Series renamed In Love. That is a clear sticker placed over the CD case to hide the Collector's series logo isn't it. Besides that sticker on the front is there any difference between this and the regular CS vol 1. Whats the cat no.?

 

The LCMM 6 track is a great CD to have as is the Unison video. Keep up the good work.

 

Your Ultimate Box, is that the original or one of the fake copies? You know the La Voix Du Bo D'ieu is fake I hope. Still nice to have on CD though, will they ever get around to re-releasing these pre sony albums properly. Enough with the same bloomin' compilations already!

 

That's also quite an impressive library of books. Is that your home. You guys must sure like studying!

Yes there are a lot of fake Ultimate Boxes. But if you bought yours from a legitimate source, not from ebay, you should be fine. No the official is the better one to have.

 

Your I'm Alive may look fake but it's probably real. We had this query when it was first released. Run your finger across the words I'm Alive and you'll see that they are very, very slightly embossed (raised) That's the best way to prove it's real. It should also be printed on thick card. The Cd is a CD-R but that again is how it's meant to be.

Actually not only the words "I'm alive" are embossed, all the words printed on the CD are embossed, is it ok ? The other face of the CD is blue/green, is that ok?

 

Yea the insert is a kind of weird thick card that you d use with ur printer to make invitation cards or something It looks really fake, like unprofessionnaly done, printed with a home printer...

No I've never met her, but I've met Rene a couple of times. (I suspect she may have a restraining order out on me, but I've never been able to prove it ) but I do have a few autographs from friends / the old fan club. One of these days I'll track her down.

 

Believe me Olivier, if you think that looks fake you should see some of the official promo's that have been released in recent years, they can be truly awful.

Strange, I always thought mine was real, because the CDs and DVDs are correctly put on both sides, not on a single staple, but the pattern on my Ultimate Box is also reversed.

That's weird, I'm sure the fake just have the discs on one side. I find it hard to imagine there are 2 versions :blink:

I have got Pour Toujours french book this morning!! It only costed me 1,50 € at eBay!

Sorry for double posting, but I thought that the books were identical and to my surprise, the french edition includes mementos not included in For Keeps! It has:

 

- a letter of 3 pages from Eddy Marnay, dated 21st January 2001

 

- a poem titled "Mon Petit Prince" written by Luc Plamondon (which has proved impossible to read for me because its handwritten and there's no transcription ) with the occasion of RC birth,

 

- the rough draft sheet of PQTME lyrics by JJG (the same as the one they included in the 15eme anniversaire edition of the past year, so french fans already knew that bonus material)

 

- and the letter of Céline to the fans in the last dossier is written in french

 

Its possible that the text has differences too, probably facts from her french career that weren't that appealing for the american public or slight differences like that . The french translation is done by Georges Hebert Germain, as several other Céline books and articles of her french career.

Mine wasn't shrinkwrapped but it's not resealable either, it's a plastic bag shaped to fit the box which was sealed closed with just a piece of sellotape, I have kept the bag too, seeing as the sticker was attatched. I know what you mean about stickers, I keep as much as I can too. Sometimes you can take the sticker off the plastic and reattatch it somewhere on the item. That's what I did with the sticker from the plastic wrap on the D'eux 15. I put it inside the digipak, on a blank area as it was too nice to lose.

That type of thing is only lame in the "real world", here on this forum it makes you cool. (which in itself, is also a bit lame if I'm honest, oh well )

I never throw away stickers, always keep them Also, French releases usually include tons of info in that tiny spaces And yes, some are nice. The one which came with the D'elles digipack was so cool. Also the sticker of Tout en Amour, showing the booklet opened and some pictures

 

Yes, that JDDMT is the withdrawn version (or is it the other one with the DMQS picture?). Its quite rare I would say.

You've a long, long way to go 77 before you can call yourself a huge collector, but you've got the basics covered with your CD's. We've all got to start somewhere. Keep up the good work, 16 singles on amazon will be a good help. You need to start delving into Ebay a bit too.

You can use the sticky topic to showcase your collection if you want once you start getting some interesting bits and pieces.
