May I offer some constructive criticism for this? I will be supporting the effort, but there's a few things that don't seem to be taken into account.
If we want to make a song chart, just saying "stream that song on that day" is not enough. There's lots of chart rules.
1) streaming on a Thursday will have no effect. We've already lost 6 days of the tracking week. Tracking weeks are from Friday to Friday and for the song to gain enough points to chart the effort should start on a Friday and be consistent for a whole week. Also playlists should be made that fans could have playing on repeat.
2) We have to take into account that Celine fans are from all around the world. Everyone streaming it in their own country, will make it very hard to chart in one particular country's chart. I'm not sure if VPN works nowadays or it's taken out by streaming platforms but it's worth searching about it so we can all focus on charting in one main market ( probably usa will have the biggest impact). There's also some platforms that help with streaming parties but we'll have to look into that because I'm not sure how they work.
3) We also have to take into account the upcoming Christmas freeze and Adele's new album which will make it harder for a non Christmas song to chart and Adele's album will turn the attention away from our effort since probably all her songs will be charting at once.

They clearly said that this is just tue first step and just to see that are fans really active and enthusiastic or not to me
Many fans here keep repeating that these efforts are pointless, because lot of older fans aren’t interested in participating in this kind of thing… and that’s okay. But Céline has a lot of youthful fans who want to help her music spread and become more popular, which adds to her legacy — which is also part of the Say Yes mission.
Certainly this tactic can be improved, but personally I’m just glad there are other fans out there TRYING. The more we try, the more we learn what works and what doesn’t, and the better chance we have of succeeding in the future!

There are indirect ways which are more effective than direct ways of promotion.

I'd bet good money though that, if (God forbid) she is unable to perform anymore or when the day comes that she slows down and stops doing so many live performances, all of this stuff will eventually get released. Probably in the late 2030s-early 2040s when Celine is in her 70s.

I’m glad to see our biggest critic in the forum has become our spokesperson! See, miracles do happen

Oh now, I never meant to come across as a critic of the project. It wasn't something I, personally, was interested in and I didn't think there was much luck of anything coming from it. But I made a point many times to applaud all the work that was going into the videos and the marketing and the sheer effort you all were putting into it. I'm sorry you didn't get the outcome you wished but I do believe that stuff will be released someday...just not for another decade or so.

POPULAR
It will be great to have some fresh energy devoted to spreading the word that the fans are craving some release - in any format - to tie us over until 2023. Maybe it will be another futile attempt, but it’s definitely worth another shot because I think even the “dreamer” fans are finally fed up with the wait.

Well, to be fair,
- this is the first time in years she approved a catalog development plan
- she's not doing this for free; it was accompanied by a substantial advance to her
- label was willing to pay said advance because the records in question were approaching contractual copyright reversion dates (there's a lot of legal nuance to this, but in the US, copyright can revert back to the artist after 35 years), and they wanted to keep the copyrights
- this is also part of the build-up to the official biopic and a larger marketing plan
Copyright reversion is why I maintain Sony might try to more aggressively work Celine's catalog once her US releases start getting to the 35 year mark.
