There's a TV special for that album, but the concert filmed was from a different date than the recorded for the album...

Baffles me why this was never released. It’s clearly been professionally recorded and edited just to…….sit in a vault somewhere? Even if only 1000 people bought it they’d still make some money. Why not release it? Baffling.

Yeah it’s annoying, cos at least if we had the whole concert, someone could remaster and master the audience; like that CelineFanAudios on YouTube did with the Millennium concert!

Because some people pay a shitload of money for unreleased stuff, and when such campains are set up to get our hands on it nobody wants to join in 'because it gets leaked anyway, so why bother pay for it'

Hmm I didn’t see anywhere to be apart of buying this…. Did you?  Sounds more to me that people get a thrill out of having exclusives.  

If they want them for themselves why do they keep posting clips like food scraps?

The lack of live concert releases is perhaps making more sense now that we know Celine was struggling more with her voice than we realized for the past 17 years. I assume she had no interest in releasing shows where she didn’t feel vocally confident.

Well 2016 and 2017 were rather impeccable and by far best vocally comparing to Vegas, 2018 or CWT so that argument doesn'g necessarily hold

I find it somewhat hard to believe she thought her voice sounded rough for 17 years, and yet continued to record, perform her residency, and tour the world. I can see the worst vocals from 2018-2020 not passing her high standards, but as someone else said 2016-2017 were not her worst years and the ambiance of the concerts certainly made up for any vocal shortcomings.

Yeah but maybe she kept thinking she was going to get better and so let’s wait and not release it now. Rather weird analogy but you know how deflation decreases demand as people put off purchases expecting to get an even better deal later? Similar thing. It may be good but if you think it’s going to get better, there’s an incentive to wait.

Well she also wasn’t proud of her performance in the Millennium Concert so I think we should totally believe it. Not to mention while it would be great to have 2016 and 2017 tours on DVD, they weren't her best vocally. In fact quite a few upper belts from 2017 were painful. Maybe she thought her worse vocal condition was just depression or sadness from the death of Renae and her brother?She did have a lot of good moments though.

I agree with you.

I think she probably hasn’t been totally pleased with her voice for a long time. I’m sure there have been a lot of moments she’s been proud of but overall she’s just made do and trusts that no one’s standards are as high as her own.

It really became clear to me in her recent interviews just how hyper aware of her voice she is — with SPS, she was just no longer in control of it like she once was.

for 2016 standards May Vegas shows were decent, and June summer tour dates were all right. 2017 Copenhagen had good and bad moments. The last 2 French shows and Berlin first night were good, so was Glasgow. For 2017 Vegas November 24 and 25, oddly she experienced back pains in both, and December 30.
