It's all Team Céline. A somg written by a current artist, as Shuan said, won't get popularity from either press or audience, because no one reads the writers/producers' names. They just know the singer who is singing.


They could have written Lying Down ft. Sia since she is majorly present in it. Maybe Sia didn't want it. It's weird how Sia has written so many songs and Celine has recorded so many of them, but why NEITHER of their teams(or they themselves idk) never thought of doing a collab. I know Céline would never refuse that,unless the song is absolute trash.


And yes, For The Lover That I Lost was a missed opportunity. The last collab was Incredible (right?) and that was 10 years ago. We need something new. Something fresh. I'm tired of listening to singers in back vocals of Celine's songs.



And in this time, I know Céline isn't releasing new stuff and isn't in press.
But TC(whatever's left of them) can find songs from her catalogue and try to make a trend. So many ways I can think of that can happen successfully.

We just have to wait 20-30 years when Céline will not be here anymore and they would release them then as tributes.  Which too they would do with some mistake.

Celine and her team relied primarily on live performance for the past couple of decades. That’s where she’s remained a force. Just like Tina Turner... Tina had huge songs in the 80s (and 60s & 70s) and remained a hot ticket for as long as she was performing without releasing any new hit material in decades. She didn’t need a new hit song or album to sell out concerts and that’s the exact same boat Celine’s been in.

BUT now Celine is facing a new career chapter… especially if she won’t be able to tour again. So it would be nice to see Team Celine strategize and come up with other ways to keep Celine’s star shining.

Even if Celine can’t regularly perform anymore (which I hope is not the case), I hope she’s well enough to make big appearances from time to time like at the Met Gala, etc. And to have more big career moments like recording a Bond theme.

With that said, I would love a big duet with an artist like Adele or Sam Smith or Kelly Clarkson or Lady Gaga… someone who admires and respects her.

A duets album would be lovely. Duets tend to bring out the best in Celine. And it would get a lot more attention than a regular Celine album.

I know for a fact that a small group of fans managed to get their hands on most of the professionnaly filmed concerts listed above in this topic, including the unreleased Live In Las Vegas Blonde concert (filmed in late 2003) and an excellent quality version of the Live In Brunei 1997 concert from LaserDisc (not from VHS like the version shared here on the forum) but those people won't share them with the rest of us. Sony should release all these concerts on iTunes, Netflix or Prime so all of us, not just some greedy fans, would be able to enjoy them in great quality.

How do you know that?

Is it the same group of people who got that FIY Tour concert -- from Brussells was it? Or Amsterdam? I forgot the tour stop. The one where they shared a little of "All By Myself" filmed of their TV playing the concert

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's from the same person/people, although the person I got in contact with was using a different alias than the one from YouTube who uploaded the All By Myself clip from Brussels 1997.

Yes a pro recording of BST Hyde Park is definitely “out there.”

Regardless of who has it and why, I’m still curious why Sony (or whoever) would record it and not release it? Surely it’s better releasing it and making some money than none at all?

Obviously Celine has a say in if she wants the event to be recorded. And/or released. But i just don't understand why do they film so many small videos of every cincert night for promotion. Why just not make a whole DVD? Also, why to record and not release. Some are not even shown to fans, like Hyde Park, which I understand she didn't look good there. But Courage World Tour could've been released for promotion. At least the live version of Lying Down. Many missed opportunities.

Weirest thing is they're still not realising. We don't know what the future hokds for Celine's concert days. It might not be the same. She might, she might not.


At such point, they should release what they have. Edit the stuff, make them cinematic and release. I don't believe that a bunch of experts with high budget software can't do that.

Wait, so someone here is in contact with somebody that has Brussels? Maybe we can actually convince them to release it. Some of you may disagree, but I think releasing Memphis was a bad choice, from what we have Brussels was a stronger day, vocally, plus she sang, think twice, which was live instead of to love you more, which was lipped. We need an early date of that tour, I don’t even care at this point if it would be professionally recorded or a bootleg. We know the ending of all by myself was shortened by June. I would love an earlier let’s talk about love tour date, even before New York.
