Sometimes I think there are fans on here that don't see Celine as a human being allowed any freedoms. She's just here to serve your entertainment just like you want it, no exceptions or room for mistakes or flaws.

I also want Celine to work with people who bring out the very best in her voice - but, again, they should always be kind. No reason not to be.
I imagine there are many ways to get fantastic vocal out of a singer without tearing them down. Leading with kindness, being patient, complimenting them, making suggestions, etc.

Celine needs those sorts of producers.
Indeed she needs these sort of producers. Now more than ever.
It was sort of the same with "Us" and "Miles To Go" as well. Those producers really told her what she needed to do to get it right.

Ah come on she is not a baby. And of course we see her as a human but a producer has a direction he or she wants the recording to go to. And if Celine pronounces words wrong, put up a voice, then it is up to the producer that correct that and if needed she has to sing certain lines all over again until she has it right. She is not a poor thing that cannot handle pressure and feedback.

That's not what I said at all. In case you missed it I was replying to jpat who said he liked seeing Celine on the verge of tears. Breaking down an artists isn't a sign of a good producer.
I disagree that she was about to cry, I think she was annoyed. Celine does great at following directions, as David Foster put it, she'll give exactly what you ask of her. We have footage of her asking for & following producers directions.
Imo, what Kara was doing in that session was being overbearing.

I think both of you are right but we all agree that Celine needs direction From producers regarding pronunciation and vocal delivery and Kara showed her that she needs to put more effort into delivering the best result possible.
I am totally with you that Kara comes across as overbearing.
However, a singer Normallly tries to deliver the best product with a new album/song- At least out of respect to the fans- and that also means no mumbling, granny voice and clear pronunciation.
Still, I like superwoman but we had enough badly produced songs on the last albums that had the issues mentioned above.

Nope. I've listened to it a total of three times with zero urge to listen to it again. The first time was to hear it for the first time, the second was to play it for my partner, and the third was just for the heck of it to see if I changed my mind. I view this song as totally forgettable.

Same. I put it in a playlist for a week so I’d be forced to listen to it to see if it would grow on me. It didn’t. Along with There Comes A Time, Superwoman will be a song I’ll never listen to again.

Not really. We can see that Céline is so pissed at Kara but as you can see she likes this kind of people making her better because she’s willing to learn, to be better. if you watched the bts
We don’t like producers who doesn’t speak what’s on their mind just because they are too shy to say it and because she’s Céline Dion. Then, the outcome will be worst.
That’s why I hope they can work again together.

I adore “There Comes A Time.” I’d be thrilled if we ever got a live performance of it someday.

In the Taking Chances "Making Of" Celine actually said she liked Kara's style and approach.

People I understand that not everybody has musicall knowledge but if you dont like her innunciation of words or stuff doesnt have anything to do with production.. Thats her delivery so stop saying poorly produced cause no song celine puts on an album is poorly produced... There are some like in the hands of stephan moccio who are extraoridarily produced but thats the thing working with new producers you dont know how they produce etc.. its trail and error

You really like this song and her way of singing it? I am not talking about her voice aging, no it is the weird style of singing that supposed to be sounding tough and Sia-ish, that gives her voice this unpleasant unnecessary nasal tone. She can still all these notes but with this unpleasant tone it does sound cringy to me, knowing she is forcing her voice to sound ‘tough’ ‘gangsta’ ‘cool’. But it does not sound any of that IMO.

Diane Warren just recently did an interview with TMZ, where she said she will be releasing a Cave Sessions Vol.2 album and the songs are already recorded, or at least written . Apparently Diane had so many songs written, so she eliminated some songs from Vol.1 that she is saving for Vol.2. It's highly possible that Celine recorded more Diane Warren songs for Cave Sessions Vol.2!

Okay, I’m going to make a guess… she recorded a song called “Force of Nature (Firecracker)” and the lyrics are about being an empowered woman in love.
“Baby I’m a force of nature / I’m like a firecracker / Ready to light up your skies / No more darkness/ Baby I’ll light up your sky / Yeah, yeah, oh / Force of nature, yeah”

I agree. I love the song and I still think it would be/have been a good choice for the Courage tour, not least since it literally begins with the words “let me be your soldier”. What screams ‘courage’ more than that?

Yes, all of the producers Céline works with are professionals. However, there are some production choices they make which are just hard to understand. When it’s detrimental to the song and the end product ends up being worse than it could have been, I call that bad production. One example is not achieving a good balance between the loudness/intensity of the vocals and that of the instrumental, when it sounds like the vocals are just a layer added on top instead of a seamless blend (e.g. “Falling in Love Again”). Another one is when they blur or dry out the vocals and it affects the clarity (e.g. “Lovers Never Die” - although on that one I kind of like it - or “Superwoman”). I could go on.

I just screengrabbed this from the Reel she posted today of the recording of « Ma faille ».
Apparently she likes to be coached (at least she did in 2016).

Here, I’m reposting this. Céline says to Zaho that she likes being coached on her delivery. If Céline was defensive with Kara, it’s only because of Kara’s approach - not the fact that she’s telling Céline what she wants.
This isn’t her first rodeo… think of all the various producers Céline has worked with, and all their different styles of communication. Surely she’s used to it — she’s a professional. That said, she hasn’t worked with Kara since, so maybe there was something else about her that didn’t vibe with Céline & René. Either way, the ship has sailed and I don’t foresee them working together again.

I so agree with you. Esspecially when it feels she is singing in front of the arrangement. Too loudly mixed and not feeling that she is part of the song, the arrangement and even with a dry focal it is bad production IMO. On her last french album you can hear clear examples of that. Ordinaire for example , too dry too loudly mixed and feeling she sings in front of the instruments that should have been mixed louder. Now it missed the mark IMO.
