Listen, you’re also entitled to your opinion of course. So am I.
But please tell me something you’re so quick not to judge a team who hasn’t did anything for her career at all this far. ( not saying they never will but this far... nothing but a weird clothing line and Celine walking the streets of Paris taking a few photos)

I don’t remember any of this when Rene was the manager, somebody is slacking on this team. If Celine thinks otherwise that’s her choice but what has her management team done since they took over?

Nothing.

No new music, no new projects, no new films, no new anything....

She has been still performing a show that Rene oversaw, created and negotiated the contract with in Vegas.
She released a French album with Aldo and that’s it; since his departure this new team or lack of a team hasn’t done anything....
So until they actually do something, anything, I’m entitled to my opinion. But how am I, I’m just stating my OPINION.

Well, what's left to say.....maybe you guys are right because no new music since rene pass away except Recovering, TSMGO, HDAMLF and Ashes, no new projects except the hyde park concert after vegas, and she only said there  will be a new songs that we we still don't know what's songs it's gonna be. She's done nothing so far....

not to mention 3 consecutive (successful) summer tours, new album this year, a fun commercial for Celinununu, and an upcoming commercial for L'Oreal. It's clear to me that Celine and team decided to wait for the end of Vegas to push forward with a new chapter in her career otherwise it'd be too hectic for her, and she's done with the heavy schedules she's led in the past.

When saying they've done nothing, what exactly is it that is expected from them for it to feel like they are doing something?

Some people just don't like to accept and read certain things that are against supporting their idol on everything she does. But we are on the same boat here

I've said it a gazillion times since 2003, and with more passion since her second Vegas residency, and now it's showing more than ever that her career has lost its direction (and purpose?)

Céline is not a manager. She wasn't born to manage a team, on the contrary, she's been used to be told all the time what to do, and only take concern on the singing part. Period.

Céline is neither a model. Handbags, lifestyle products, fashion catwalks, that's fine, BUT keep releasing music and the attention focused on your music.

She is a SINGER. So stick to what you know to do best.

Does that mean she cannot step out of her job and do other things, try other projects and be an entrepreneur if she wants? Of course not, she can do that. BUT don't neglect your main activity, that is, to record music and release new music. And it's been ages she has been careless about this.

She only wants to perform and do concerts no matter what. Okay, there's a price to pay for that avidity, and sponsors and everyone around her surely want they part of the cake too...

I agree with almost everything - except when I wrote that someone needs to be honest with Celine and tell her that she needs to cut down those long speeches, I never said a man has to tell her. A woman can tell her as well. Just wanted to make that clear.

Maybe celine is doing what she wants now.... exactly how she wants it and I don’t hate it.... Jav we all want new music but you have to take into concideration the last few years. She has done amazingly tbh to do what she has since Renes passing.

I believe she wanted to release an album much sooner but other things have contributed.  The news about this company suing celine just shows how much is going on behind the scenes.  She is getting on her feet without a René so we shouldn’t be criticising her or her team. I still believe the best is yet to come...

I didn't say here she has done bad with releases since Rene's passing, I just said her management has gone clueless and directionless since then and that's a #fact. Anyone with the exposure she has got in the last 3 years (thanks to her fashion shows -coughs-) would have taken advantage of the several momentums she has lived to release (at least) one new English single, but she just left all of those momentums sail. That's not proper of someone with a management and a direction in her career and definitely wouldn't have happened with René.

Is she doing things exactly how she wants and the way she wants? I don't discuss that Kev. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's the *right* way to do such things

Dont Ashes and Recovering both count as singles tho.... especially Ashes considering it was a hot release

I assure you Celine knows 100x more about managing a music career and how the industry works than the people here acting like she's a dunce and should only "stick to what she knows". Because clearly online fans know better than the woman working on this for 40 years and who was married to a manager.

In case some of you skimmed through her last interview and missed it, she said she isn't interested in being "the Boss" but that she now talks with her team and they decide together whether to do one thing or another. Basically, instead of just doing what her manager wants there's communication and she has more power to veto things or to suggest other things.

And yeah media is talking about her in relation to fashion because that's what's happening at the moment with her. That doesn't mean they've forgotten her music, she is still asked about new music in every interview.
The moment she releases music then the conversation will turn to that. Media talks about the most current aspects of a celebrity, what's making news.

I wish her new music will get just as much positive press as her fasion shows. I strongly believe that the right timing of things and momentum is the key factor for success and when she releases a new album in fall 2019 and remains silent till 2020 - which honestly I can totally imagine - then well... that would be VERY stupid. I hope they play it right this time...

She is one of the most successful and admired people on this planet, but when it comes to promoting her music properly, it seems like she is surrounded by the most incompetent people in the industry

I hate that when I’m not worshipping her every move and decision somehow that makes me “ know it all” or any less of a fan.
On the contrary, when we like an artist like we like Celine it’s hard to sit back and not state our OPINIONS when we think something should and could be better...
