Long time lurker , first time poster here.
I absolutely agree that Céline’s team should have shut this rumour down as soon as it started to get some traction in the media especially if she had zero intention of ever being involved. I imagine as Céline is focused on her health that  she is relying heavily on the team around her to support her & her brand, but something has gone very wrong in that over the past year or so
Her social media content has noticeably declined in quality, creativity, and warmth. Captions often feel impersonal or automated, and the vibrant personality fans associate with Céline feels well …..absent. Additionally, there’s been a near-total lack of French-language content, which is disappointing given her identity as one of the most celebrated Francophone artists in history. Céline’s French-language work is a deeply cherished part of her legacy and identity. For many fans, it’s where the emotional connection began and its beyond disappointing to see her new team dismiss that. The new what’s app group is all English …yet they used photos from a French album to promote the launch of it ..make it make sense lmao
There’s even a major delay in communicating official updates on her channel. Just recently we got the news she would be lending her voice to the Paul McCarthy animated movie & we are still waiting for an official announcement from Céline / her team for this. Fans want to be excited , engaged and celebrate her wins with her , but it’s hard to do that when there is zero communication on her official pages.
The lack of overall communication & transparency when it comes to rumours circulating is frankly kinda rude.  Obviously addressing every rumour would be ridiculous but when it comes to pubic speculation regarding her appearing somewhere when it’s simply not true …those should be addressed. Why was it not a simple task for her team to post the video they played at the semi final this week with a statement addressing that yes she was asked but at this time remains focused on her health and wishes this years contestants the best of luck. It seems her new team have no interest in protecting the legacy that Céline , Rene & her former team built…
But then again her new management/ pr can’t even get the number of Grammys she has won correct on their website.
I have seen many people would like to reach out to her team to address their concerns. There is a contact us section on their website, Maybe if enough fans respectfully address these concerns they can take note & make some changes going forward.

Ashes555, your post hits home 100% and it’s quite sad to think just how her social media has done down the toilet.

Celine herself needs to come to realise this as well, that the public perception of her brand and legacy is not being appropriately managed.  I do believe it’s her new manager that’s not getting things right.

You are right about the lack of French posts or translation. This is so sad. I dont understand why they stopped that. Not good for her reputation in French countries...

I do wonder if people who have such an issue with it have ever considered that having wigs or extensions on her head may be a trigger of some sorts for her & that’s why she has chosen to keep it simple & practical over the last number of years. Anyway moving on from that controversial topic🤣….
Is there a way on here to put up a list of concerns and people can vote what they feel is most important to be addressed?
Maybe drafting an email people can copy and paste to send themselves could work too? Its very easy for them to ignore one email , but getting several might open their eyes to the fact that they have a problem that needs be addressed.

My contribution:

1) Her Social Media is sporadic, delayed, infantile and not reflective of Céline’s artistry/success. Eg. it took weeks before her official channels posted the Olympics performance. It also should be completely bilingual, as it always has been, when Celine first joined the channels.

2) When fans are worried about Céline’s health, there needs to be a more proactive response from her team to kill rumours in respect to Celine taking part in certain events - mass social media speculation is met with silence and it leads to worry and frustration.

3) Celine is one of the most successful singers ever to have lived and has some of the biggest selling albums in our time. Special anniversaries and the quality of the merchandise / releases created to celebrate these anniversaries are poor quality, lacking in any substance or real thought about what her devoted fans, who continue to want to support her actually want. Clear vinyl records are nice but there is not emotional thought to the releases, especially when compared to those of similar legacy artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey etc.

Yeah I do wonder if she is just putting her full trust in them and assuming the ship is sailing smoothly while she focuses on her health. And if that’s the case it’s quite sad because they are letting her down in a moment she needs a strong team behind her the most to protect the brand and legacy she built. I know she’s never really had to deal with the business side of things but I agree with you , she does need to realise it too.

I meant one uniform email that everyone can send on their own. We can all flood their inbox with the same email, individually signed. Rather than sending them all random and some actually minuscule concerns. We get all of the big stuff together in one template and everyone just sends it out on their own.

I think these are some of the things that need to be addressed.

1. Social Media Presence

Well I think i kind of addressed how I feel about that in my previous post. It’s just lacking in creativity and it just doesn’t feel like it represents her anymore. It’s like there’s something missing. Also the lack of French in the posts etc.

2. Fan Engagement Beyond Performances & new music. 

We all understand and respect that Céline may not be in a position right now to perform or record. However, there are still meaningful ways to celebrate her legacy , such as sharing archival footage, rare performances, unreleased material, etc . We have seen other artists have take similar approaches to keep fans connected.
In addition, the official merchandise sucks , A refresh is needed

3. Communication and Transparency

Obviously Céline’s health is personal. That said, occasional, updates , particularly when public speculation arises would be greatly appreciated and help reduce misinformation spreading. Even a short message to acknowledge uncertainty or clarify intentions would mean a lot to the fans

4. Preserving a Legacy

Concern that the legacy & brand Céline & her former team built so carefully over decades is not being nurtured to the standard it deserves.

The way to get things done these days is social media!

Get a professional eye catching message with the concerns and get as many fan signatures as possible on the same picture/post and post it as a reply to all future social media messages from her account on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter and to also get as many people to like these as possible.

Failing this, continue to do this but tag the relevant people outside of her team, who will pick up on this and hopefully force a response from her management.

Several of my stories where I’ve tagged her on Instragram have been viewed by her official channel (obviously I know it’s not Celine) so yep, I do agree with Darren that it might be best to get all Celine fans to share and tag the relevant people we want to see on Social Media. There are hundreds of Celine accounts on Instagram with big followings so I think they would have to take notice if something was being called out en masse

It’s not because she wasn’t at the Eurovision. She maybe wasn’t well enough to do it (I am a nurse I can understand, she has a chronic desease with ups and downs). It’s mostly because of how everything in her career is mismanaged and handled badly.
For the Eurovision situation, once medias were talking about planes landing in Europe. Her team should have done their job saying that she wouldn’t participate and not give false hope.

Having a team that is doing its job is the minimum that she HAS TO HAVE. Otherwise, it looks like she is bretraying her own husband’s hard work (and i was not a big fan of his but he gave/made everything to make her who she is now). I really do think he would furious to see that.

The fact is she lied to us for the last few years. We even knowingly accepted to have a tour with nearly 50% of lipped song and to have songs not so greatly sung (studios and live). But the fact is she had no trouble accepting our money. The same money that she is using for her treatments  and research.

I perfectly understood the silence while not knowing what she was suffering from but the fact is that lately, she doesn’t have any consideration for her fans.

I am not asking for a weekly update or  a new album, a new tour, a new show in Vegas or whatever. I am just asking to feel aknowledge as a fan.
