If someone had told me a few years ago that Celine would become a cool and super loved icon again,  I would have not believed him/her! This is just amazing!
From now on I wonder what will be next, what impact it is going to have on her career...maybe interesting new collaborations!  Can't wait to see!!!

TBH, I once used to believe that Celine would never ever become "relevant" again in this "modern" world as people turned their focus to those big names for young generations, from Beyonce to Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Taylor, Katy, Bieber, Nicki, Adele, Ariana, etc. I just enjoyed the moment when there were some news about Celine, but I didn't expected anything much other than just the updates about her life and random activities.

However, since 2015-2016, Celine has been in the "spotlight" again, and more than that, she isn't regarded as an old, outdated, boring woman, but a fashinable, classy, and iconic figure or LEGEND everyone should look up to. This is just phenomenal. I still can't believe that she has become THIS "relevant" in the showbiz again at the age of 49. :clap:

To be honest, I think a lot of the change has come from her increasing skill (though still so much to be desired) with the social media part of fame these days. Her team has gotten better...I mean, simply showing this world class singer where today's viewership is (i.e. Jimmy Fallon, Carpool Karaoke, The Voice, etc. etc.) is enough to make her popular again.

TALENT is popular...especially nowadays when so much of the field around Celine is thinning in the talent department. :giggle:

Just wait till she releases the the new English album. They will quickly go back to the cunts they are then. It's not like she's gonna have the Adele effect. (Not that I expect that either)

She's always been ridiculed by the public. I don't expect this to last. If it does, great, if not, no surprise.

Come to think of it, it's almost like she had to lose her husband to get recognition. I never thought about that before. After Rene died, everyone praised Celine. Not because he died, but because what she had to go through. It's like she's getting sympathy from everyone because of how horrible it must be, and because the way she dealt with it. And I love that people care about her, and how she's going. if only they paid so much attention to her music.

Laura Dern was in Big little lies on HBO with Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon, if you have a chance to see it, very good , excellent.  The actress were all great, especially Nicole Kidman.

she's cool for being uncool which is exactly what carl wilson said would happen, shes never been and is still not cool but thats the point. The irony is cool. and the catalysts have been her loosing the love of her life and rising like a phoenix from the tragedy in some kind of fashion rebirth, people are kinda overlooking that fact that they still dont really like her music. Thats why i hope that when this album comes out she can really capitalise and move that forward while this is all happening.

Céline is cool now because people love nostalgia. So yeah,  they may not love any future music she releases, but what we saw after the Billboards was just the point- as Lea Michelle said, her poise and dignity and class combined with MHWGO was pure gold. People love her, for the memories that they can relate to her music but also because she does stand apart form the rest because of the way she handles herself. She is like no other.
