Yes probably on the deluxe/special edition, bonus cd or whatever you want to name it...

And if it's not for the new album what was all that about...so much preparations for nothing...well then they are truly the masters of wasting time...
No wonder there were so much wrong (if not to say dumb) decisions made in the past...
Sorry if I missunderstood something in between the lines in this project...stupid me then

Sometimes they record 15-20 songs but only 12 make the album. I suppose they're just covering their backs, saying it's not guaranteed to be on the album.

Well, the above poll is not exactly a statistically significant sample size!
I for one didn't vote here, but certainly did in the real thing.  
And am happy with the outcome.

For me, I voted 6 different songs on celinedion.com, including the winning song. However, the winning song is not my favourite one out of these six, so I didn't vote the winning song in the poll above. Moreover, there are only 80 members voted their one favourite song in the poll above, so it is far away to say the poll results above can represent "the fans" at all. :)

I hope the winning song can be fit on the album.

Voici celui qui aura la chance d'entendre sa chanson interprétée par Céline Dion en personne. Daniel Picard, vient de remporter le concours lancé il y a deux mois par la star. Rencontre avec un fan très heureux...

Mille personnes ont répondu en octobre à l'appel de la star, en quête de nouvelles chansons. Seulement vingt-cinq des quatre mille textes envoyés ont été retenus par un jury de professionnels, et soumis aux votes des internautes. Le 1er décembre, Daniel Picard, comédien et compositeur, a reçu un appel de la part de l'équipe de Céline Dion lui annonçant sa victoire. "Je suis très heureux", confie-t-il à Closer.fr  "c'est une grande interprète ". Puis il a eu un deuxième appel auquel il n'a pas pu répondre. « Céline en personne m'a laissé un message » continue le quinquagénaire " c'était très spontané, très gentil, elle m'a félicité, m'a remercié et j'ai eu le sentiment que la chanson avait fait vibrer une corde sensible chez elle ".

L'histoire de cette chanson ? " J'ai commencé à l'écrire il y a quatre ou cinq ans après le décès d'une personne qui m'était chère. Je ne l'ai terminée que cette année. J'ai pensé qu'elle collait bien avec la sensibilité de Céline " et il ajoute " Elle parle d'un sujet très tabou ". Mais Daniel ne pourra en dire plus. Désormais, elle ne lui appartient plus vraiment. On pourra donc la découvrir sur le nouvel album francophone de la star, qui sortira l'année prochaine."

i am for sure okay with the winner of the contest, but look at our votes - only 2 votes for the winning song. It is a ballad I am okay with that. But Je Te Donnerait Tout had the most votes in here...  I am glad that not one of the songs won , the ones that I did not like at all.

I wish if they will make a new album again. I hope they will ask her fans again to pick songs to be added to the album. Remember Encore un Soir era? Where the fans were able to vote which song to be included to the album.

Yeah, I know her so I knew she sent her a song at the time, she never talked about it until recently in an interview. If I recall she sent her the song Liés and never heard back so she used it for her own album.
