I think this song is nothing special to me. I would skip right past in on the album. I am dumbfounded that Comment Savoir only has 8.82% of votes and Frere et soeur de son, which I think is far better then Je te donnerai, only has 2.94% of the votes so far.

I really for the life of me don't know what people are seeing in Je te donnerai tout. Maybe it's because I don't speak or understand French. I'm sorry. I don't mean to be offensive, but nothing about that song does anything for me.
I hope that people on Celine's official site are voting with different results then what I am seeing on the forum, because I'm not liking what I am seeing at all.

Personally, I've voted for Que Vaut Ma Vie because Je Te Donnerai Tout is the kind of easy-listening pop song she's done in the past. Still great choice!

Some thoughts:
Je reste la - Enjoying this one a lot from a musical, lyrical and production perspective. I think this would sound great when performed by Celine. This one got my vote.
Que vaut ma vie - It's solid. Inspiring, if a little repetitive on both the musical and lyrical front. Got a bit of a Les Colocs sound (well, at least sonically).
Comment savoir - The only song on here that I actively dislike. Was pretty turned-off by the delivery of this demo. I know that shouldn't colour my opinion here as it would certainly sound different done by Celine, by it definitely did. The whole thing came off as trying way too hard. Not a fan at all. This one is a complete bore to me.
Frere et soeur de son - Enjoying the sound, the production, the lyrics. Reminds me of Notre Dame de Paris. Perhaps a bit too much. In any case, it would be something different to pretty much everything else on this list and I'd like Celine to do a tune like this every now and then.
On a beau dire - Loving the jazz, though definitely not the sax. I wish she would record something like this but it's just not gonna happen. Maybe for another album.
Je te donnerai tout - meh, it's OK but fairly forgettable IMHO. I don't get why it' has such appeal for folks on this board. Kind of a bore, and lyric not particularly interesting. I'd be disappointed if this wins.
A la plus haute branche - Really like the lyrics here. Interesting song on all fronts. Doubt it'll win but I would very much like to hear Celine sing this.
Dans ta chaleur - I think this one's lovely, both musically and lyrically. Maybe it's the cello. I love me some cello; just the most tender-sounding instrument.
Et pourtant - I do like this one. Think it would sound wonderful performed by Celine, though it's so sad... a little close to home, but perhaps that's the point.
My bottom line - sad we only get to select one. I wish she'd record several of these! Really, these days, with the amount of great material she's getting, I wish she'd put out new albums more often... I know she's got other priorities in life and all, but... I'd just so love more frequent French material from Celine, since the Vegas show is basically 100% English. No need to tour them (which she really doesn't anymore anyway), and Sony doesn't need to go all out on the marketing front. Just give us new music! It doesn't have to be big multi-year production and marketing machine every time. It's cheaper and easier to record than it ever was and there's NO shortage of great songs for Celine to sing. Wish she'd do this more often.

I really hope that Frere et soeur de son is the winner. My family and I have been getting excited this whole voting process. We have been listening to Frere et soeur de son over and over again. I know if that song wins, my mom, sister and I will freak out together when I play them the album.
Hopefully I won't be let down with the results tomorrow.

Spot the sarcasm here

This was my virdict back then...
Quote
WTF is this??? Do I want to hear Céline whistle?? I don't think so. This song is weird. Was it added cos Daniel Picard is the mentally challenged brother of Paul? Nope, aint gonna be the one. 6/10.
