I'm sure that they recorded a DVD of the English leg but for some reasons they didn't release any. It's a shame because that tour was a heck of a tour! 💖

My post was the last one on page 1 and I'm afraid nobody will read it. Anyone knows whether it's true that she performed Ne partez pas sans moi in Brussels in 1999 as part of her acoustic medley?

Can someone that got to meet her during meet and greet tell her to release this tour from Wembley Stadium😂😂😂. I've read somewhere that it was recorded.

Celine is the best no matter what people think of her. I also remember from MSG during the LTAL Tour when Ana Gasteyer made an appearance on stage doing her famous parody from SNL on Celine.

Why?
For me TCWT is the worst tour she ever did (wit al the 'show effects and dancers'). LTAL-tour was Celine at the peek of her career and it was amazing to see her perform during that time.

Actually now that I think about, Taking Chances was great but however the one thing that I was sad about with this tour she spent less time with the band and (especially) her backup singers. On the Let's Talk About Love and even Falling Into You, the dancers used to do all of the dancing and pumping up the crowd. Check out the videos from both those tours during LOVE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS, her backup singers used to WORK IT OUT!!!

For Taking Chances and A New Day... what was also sad was she did not introduce each musician individually like on the Let's Talk About Love (during LOVE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS) and Falling Into You (during LE BALLET). Basically, she only said LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, MY MUSICIANS & MY DANCERS!

During A New Day..., she only said LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, LET'S HEAR IT FOR MY BAND during LET'S TALK ABOUT LOVE Tour. That band breakdown where all the musicians played solo, Celine had that same interlude but she was also on stage saying each member's name. Sad she didn't say the names of her members (Dominick, Marc, Nannette, Andre, Jean Seb, Yves, Mego, Elise, Mary, and Barnev).

Weak setlist. Excessive playback. The ltal album had so many great songs but so few made it to the stage to be sung live. Many of the songs from previous tours that stuck around  for this one were also playback songs. Overall the setlist for this tour is probably the Only thing on par with how bad the current Vegas setlist.

I'm totally with you. The voice, the fame, the dress, the stage, sold out stadiums. LTAL Tour is like Celine's version of Madonna's  Blond Ambition Tour! So iconic👑

Both shows were great but LTAL will always be her iconic tour.

During that time, I was too young to notice when Celine was doing playback or not, but for those who were old enough to notice, did you know during the 90's that Celine was lipsyncing The Power Of Love or To Love You More for example? Was it a known fact? Even before Youtube where we are able today to compare all her performances?

If not, when did you notice? I remember like it was yesterday when I noticed that Power Of Love had not been sung live for over a decade. And I thought at the time it was only during A New Day... hahah! Well.

Just by curiosity.

She only did POWER OF LOVE and TO LOVE YOU MORE a few times during FIY and LTAL promotion. Mostly she used the playback track to save her voice for certain songs.

I've always desired to have this question answered as well.

I agree ltal may be her most iconic, but when I really critique it - it is not a favorite of mine.

These aspects are what actually made me love the Taking Chances Tour. With the arrangements of the older songs and the style of the (then) newer songs, having it just be Celine on a stage would have taken away from some of the effectiveness of the music. That's like having A New Day... without the dancers (which in my opinion are what made an already amazing show so incredible)

Maybe this German broadcast can "accidentally" upload the full concert to Youtube

I am still in shock that they recorded 2016,2018 tours and Hyde Park, some parts of Courage World Tour, so many LAS Vegas shows and didn't thought of releasing it.

I am not kidding my friend says that Celine is practically dead because of her "absence" in social medias and YouTube. Well he is not wrong. TC isn't releasing any live videos of her recent times. People who hasn't seen her live, videos, or fans they'll think that Celine is dead

Thats why its really boring to be a Celine’s fan these days. Its gonna be a new album every 5-6 years and thats it. If you can buy a ticket for a show thats a bonus. Its really sad sad sad!

The pandemic was the best time to release old stuff like a LTAL english concert or the 2016-17 tour… and NOTHING!

Her team is garbage. I miss René 😭😭😭
