[Crazy for Celine]

Random question but i remember Celine saying that during a concert, there was a huge cockroach climbing her. She talked about that in an interview with Rosie O’Donnell in November 1998 (?). I wonder which show is that?

I don't think its the show she's talking about but in the color of my love tour Birmingham, there was a bug on stage and she pointed it out. She said she hates bugs and almost stopped the song for it.

The show I’m referring to is probably a part of LTAL Tour, she said she killed the cockroach immediately and she hit “the highest note” she ever hit. But nice to know about that, i never knew there was a bug during her Birmingham 1995 show.

Does anybody know if she sang the correct lyrics for the high notes in LTAL. In the album version she says “all we needed, the air we’re breathing” but in all live versions I’ve heard she says “I wanna know you, the air we’re breathing.”

No, the live version always had a different arrangement.

She even messed up the lyrics on one of the live performances of the song. The Today Show?  I cant remember but they had to start over.   I think its a hard song to memorize the lyrics the melody or something. Although I would think she would have an in ear piece with someone telling her the lyrics to sing next backstage.

Some other miner details
Anaheim 1998, Celine and backup singers sang happy birthday to Terry Bradford.
From November 1998 through Febuary 1999, Gregory Charles was a temporary backup singer, Barnev replaced him afterwords. I couldn’t imagine Charles singing I’m Your Angel.
New Orleans 1999, Celine mentioned Rene’s cancer, I cannot find anything online that mentioned exactly when he was diagnosed.
I feel like I forgot a few things.

I wish we knew the tickets sold for the canceled dates of the stadium shows…I love box office #’s…a shame since she was scheduled to play in Spain, and I think even Portugal…countries she still hasn’t toured!

I heard about a private concert in Febuary 1999, there is a small clip of Because You Loved Me. Does anybody know more about this concert, or if it was in fact part of the tour? I’m going to try finding that BYLM clip,.

That original ending of It's All Coming Back To Me Now is really magical. I really wish they didn't cut that part in her performances since 2003

I want another French date from this tour, any others would probably be better vocally, plus have no songs cut like the DVD.

It would be terrible and wonderful to have a show from this part of the tour.the Wembley or Zurich show which were nevertheless filmed in full. the color effect, blurring of the DVD Au cœur du Stade is an abomination. this tour was the biggest, Celine was a machine at this point in her career. the outfits, the hair, the setlist... it was iconic.

The only reason I would want another french show is to see how long she held the note at the end of Damour ou Damitie.  The two we have vary in length.

I’m guessibg most would be as good as Paris. The next time some of these French songs were performed was 2008 or 2013.

Personally I’d prefer an early 98 concert because then we’d get Love Is On The Way and All By Myself. Think Twice and PQTME would be very welcomed extras.

Do we know if THLAL was lipped as well when she was there?

We don’t know for sure, but I would say that it probably was, especially if we are to consider the fact that it was lipped with the same track in Jamaica 2012 when Diana King was there.

True, but did she lip Immortality on the tour? Because when the Bee Gees showed up on that tour, they all sang it live.

They're rebroadcasting "Au Coeur du Stade" tonight on a French channel. Something I don't understand after all these years, is that every time they're rebroadcasting it, it's not the TV version that was first shown in 1999 (audio available on YouTube with different TLYM introduction and the Titanic instru before MHWGO) but the dull DVD version... I'm so desperate to see the first unedited version since I lost my old vhs. If I remember correctly, on the first version there was no blurry effects (added for the DVD release), the voice and audience sound was more clear, and the shots were different (just like TV version of Live in Memphis and the VHS release).
