Man did anyone see a comment on facebook where they called and referenced  Celine fans(us)like Justin Bieber fans. I would had thought we were like "lambs" in this process anyways...

This guys apology was an epic #FAILURE and he does not understand that he is in the wrong for it. He was a jerk man for already saying that she should have done her research(true she should have). He is being a bully and a condescending fool. CRYBABY still just trying to make Celine look bad again. JERK!!

What I don't understand is  EG White must have played Celine the original before she recorded it or she must have heard it somewhere, so to say that Celine thought it was an Adele song is BS in my opinion!! He just wants to continue on with this for publicity!

True and what bothers me about this is....didn't supposedly she wrote a song for Rene's daughters wedding, or for that french singer (from her bathroom) and produced it so why can't she do the same when it comes to her music. I mean Celine is an artist already in what she does but I think she can do better than that. I know that she is busy with family but it doesn't matter how long it is worth it to hear a legendary one of a kind Celine Dion penned song. Not a cover, and not an original but HERS. Also she has said many times she doesn't write her songs but she is a songwriter in every sense of the word because I once read somewhere that she said she has written many songs but can't finish them-she should of gotten co-writers anyways she is a songwriter that doesn't write or even try to write her own material which is sad because she has a lot to say.

As for originals after this scandal I really think she should no longer do covers atleast not for a while. I don't understand Sony's logic for this because it shouldn't be hard to find something that suites Celine and that she would like. It should be a song that it has never been covered. If I sound harsh just know I am not drinking the hateraid.

is what I think, this whole time Celine Adele always praising and declaring his love for her and Adele does not talk about anything, does not show interest, and Celine write some music of Adele, principalmete if this song is Rolling In The Deep, logo then will emerge more comments like that that she is using the name of Adele to promote and sell albums, Céline, you do not need it, stop, stop singing Adele's music at their concerts.

Maybe this is the chance we've been waiting for to have an album full of new and original material: maybe this will get into Céline's proud as an artist and say "do they think they can try me? They'll see who is Celine Dion and what can do with a new album" and then come back with all new hot material to slap in all their faces

Please let Rene know about Merriweather's latest antics and he'll know what to do about it.
It's not worth it. Celine deserves so much better. There must be hundreds of new songs ready to be picked.

The guy himself is a publicity seeker ("publicity whore" one might also say). Simple as that

He must be well aware of the fact that by slamming publicly anyone of Celine's caliber, he's likely to get tons of free exposure. Maybe this is what he counts on.

Or maybe he is frustrated...The fact that Adèle have sung with him should have made him more famous than that. Celine 's Rolling in the deep have had more clicks in 3 hours than him in three years, .. It could be frustrating for someone who thinks so highly of himself.
