Refuse To Dance is a strange and cool song for Celine and I like the chorography.
It would have been perfect for the Vegas show.

It was really cool that she sang this song again in 2017 Bringing this song, TCOML and Misled (unfortunately only 1 night), makes me think Céline listened to this album again after René passed...

That's possible. I'm glad TCOML came back, even if just for 6 shows. But oh what I'd give to hear her live 1994 voice on Refuse to Dance... Even bootleg would satisfy. Birmingham 1995 is amazing but would still enjoy an early bootleg from 1994.

I went crazy when I got to know she would sang it in 2017! Glad to have witnessed TCOML as well live.

Unfortunately we just have 1 crappy recording of Misled.

there is an audio bootleg that has better quality. Also another video had surfaced not to long ago. For the audio bootleg check the 2017 tour topic, pretty sure I posted it there some months back.

The sheet music mentions just "Haaaaaaaaa" but it sounds more like "Oooooh yeaaaaaaaah", it's true. Anyway, it's an ad lib that has been taken from the ad libs she sings in the final choruses and isolated and duplicated to open the song.

One person person posted the Radio special of Celine hosted by David Foster she made in november 1993 in US. She saw many infos about the songs:

-Everybody's Talking My baby Down have a personal message for her, since this was she adress to all the haters about her relationship with René and the lyrics resonated a lot for her the first time she hear the song.
-Think Twice was her favorite song on this album. She told to it's remains a lot of Chris Isaak's work and this is the reason why she love this song and she also speak to Christopher Neil did a great job to the mood of the track. This have additionnal production of Aldo Nova, because Aldo Nova adding the electric guitar bridge later in the project and she wasn't there when Aldo Nova made additionnal production.
-She recording Real Emotion with insisting of Diane Warren (the writer of the song).
-Refuse to Dance was also a favorite song for her on this album. When she received, she immidiately wanted to recording this song. She explained: ''It's not a ballad, it's not a uptempo. It's dark, haunting and this was the first time i made a song like that. Annie Lennox made a song like that, Madonna also. I adopted immidiately the first time i hear the demo.'' She explainted also to about the choregraphy: when i made the first time in concert in the TV special, i work many weeks for the choregraphy with a choragrapher, and this was her first time i work with a choregrapher with a lot of dancers. You saw the result in the TV special.''

Very interesting interview about Celine’s first number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100. This one was filmed in early 1994, between rehearsals for the North American leg of TCOML tour and the shooting for the ‘Misled’ music video.
