Mariah took advantage of covid period to celebrate her 30s releasing her things
She was never strong in album neither in live performances  

About Whitney, unfortunately she never recorded many songs like Celine and Mariah, maybe that’s why all singles are on streaming services


Anyway a revisited version by Kygo could help the streaming numbers

I think a good money maker would be a compilation remix album.  Nothing new but just a compilation of remixes from 1990 to now.   Whitney and Mariah have them so there is no reason why Celine couldnt. She doesnt even have that many so it would only need to be like 18 total or something.   Press it to vinyl and it would do really well.

Years ago, there was going to be a remix album released, but it was shelved. I believe a remix for “Because You Loved Me” by Chris Cox was commissioned for it, too. Hopefully the project is revisited in the future.

Didn't Tracey Young made a remix for ABM but didn't get the Sony approval?

Also remember around the Courage album release there was some talks on Twitter by some dj who made remixes of her new single(s) but also needed approval?

Only remix I'm still hoping on is the Dans Un Autre Monde intro video for Sur Le Plaines.

The Only One Road thumbnail has been updated on YouTube. The HD version is now on Apple Music, though it’s hard to tell the difference because of the way the video is shot. During the last half of the video, the audio doesn’t seem to sync up properly with the video. Hopefully it’s just an issue on my end and/or will be fixed when the HD version is available on YouTube in the next few days.

The Only One Road video is now available in HD on YouTube, but there’s a sound syncing issue where the song doesn’t match up with her mouth. 😩 It becomes really apparent in the last half of the video.

Agreed! I don’t even know if they’ll ever notice to fix it! Just like Tant de Temps and Les Petits Pieds de Léa have had their audio switched on YouTube for years and they haven’t noticed. Lol

Does anybody have the radio special for “The Colour Of My Love”? It was a long interview with Celine hosted by David Foster in which she talked about most of the songs from the album. It used to be online like ten years ago but apparently it’s been deleted and now it’s nowhere to be found.

So, they fixed the sound syncing issue on Apple Music, thankfully. Not sure if it’s because of the email I sent them or if they figured it out on their own. Hopefully the syncing issue on YouTube gets fixed too lol.

I have some questions about "Misled" timeline which is weird to me. Sorry if this has already been discussed.

I was on her FB page to check if  OOR HD MV was mentionned and scrolled back to Misled post. I think the way it was written was misleading ( lol) because it says that Misled was released in April and the MV shot in December , 2 months later.

I didn't know if it was 2 months after the shooting or 2 months after the released of the single. After checking, it appeared that it was 2 months after the single release. So in June!

I don't recall exactly how everything in the music industry worked back then ( of course everything was slower)  but don't you think 2 months ( and 6 months after the shooting!) was a lot?

I know that a song could reach its peak 2 months after its release but the lifetime of a song wasn't 6 months , therefore a MV released 2 months after the single release was useless.

Team Celine has always been such a mess when it comes to singles! No wonder why any of TPOL follow up single didn't shine.

Other questions :

=> Why Misled was released 2x in the UK?
=> On Wikipedia , it is stated that Dion refused to sing "When I fall in Love" with Stevie Wonder as initially planned. Is it true? I find it hard to believe.

Are you kidding me, Think Twice was a big hit in the UK and Europe. But yes, they should have pushed Celine's singles more in the 90s.

Yes! It was first released in 1994, but didn't do much. First single was with the MK remixes. Then, after the success of TT and OOR, it was released again in 1995. Now with the e-Smoove remixes. I guess they wanted to try an uptempo song after all the ballads. You can see the different singles (different covers) here:

They might have held the music video back until the song started getting more airplay. Although i have no clue when it was released to radio. Wikipedia only says the physical release date and not the airplay date.

Team Celine posted today that they were wrapping up the 30th anniversary celebration of TCOML. Guess we still won’t be getting an HD remaster of When I Fall in Love. 🙃

I am feeling such embarrassment for TeamCeline posting that the celebrations of TCOML end with the video of 'Only One Road' in HD!   

They are so out of touch with reality - HD videos on her VEVO account should have been a given upon release! To celebrate the album we should receive actual bonuses!
