What Celine Concert Do You Want To Be Released On Dvd?

Hey Guys

 

In the "Celine's unreleased concerts" Topic "Celine Fan 77" Suggested that we should try as fans to get a new unreleased concert out of sony. If there are alot of fans behind this then maybe our voice will get heard. We have nothing to lose so its worth a try....

 

We need to know what Concert we want and what the fans want, so i thought id create a poll to find out as its the best way.

 

This could be the first time the fans have a say in something, and it would be really amazing if we could pull this off.

 

How cool would it be.... i know its a long shot... but we can at least try eh?

Acually, back in February of 2006, Celine's official website explained that they would release a DVD for A New Day... including video footage from both 2007 and 2003 versions of the show so that fans could see how it evolved through the years. Actually, this happened because A LOT of fans started to wonder why there was no DVD on the official website's forum and by comments on the "What's Goin' On" section.

 

SO, before we move take this to the official site, we have to decide which DVD we are interested in.

 

 

Thank you Kev for making the poll! I just voted and yes, it's going to be a long process but worth the wait!

i cant understand people's fascination with AND 2004 blond dvd! it is the exact same 2007 dvd with the exact same lipping but different and much uglier clothes. i mean you have a chance to get something NEW and you choose something we already have and that will be lipped. i swear the logic for some baffles me sometimes hehehe

Someone close to me died and they loved Celine's short hair. So I would love to have an official DVD with her short hair regardless of the fact that she lip-synchs, wears horrible clothes or whatever you choose to say.

 

That's my logic about it, sorry that I don't have time to explain myself every time.

All that is filmed. So I don't see why not including it on a possible home video release.

I voted for Live A l'Olympia.

 

Celine herself blocked the release of The Millennium Concert so I sadly can't see that being a realistic contender for a DVD release. I honestly think as well that a "blonde hair" release of "A New Day..." would only be included as a bonus on a future release, perhaps on the DVD release of "Celine" whenever that comes.

Well if she actually sat down and watched it and then compared it to SLP which went straight out to DVD probably without her even knowing, she'll realise she's had far worse performances than the Millennium Concert!

millenium concert's performance was million times better than the AND and after performances

Live À L'Olympia is the one for me Although I'd love to have all of them on DVD, À L'Olympia is the one I chose cause I'd love to have Elle, Oxygen and the other's songs videos from that concert

I'm a bit disappointed I'm the only vote still for Winter garden theatre. It's surely the best. We really have a lack of material from that time. Setlist wise, it provides us a different catalogue of songs that we haven't heard live since. Literally, live in some cases... The only downside is that the show was a bit short. But vocally she was pretty well on point. I feel she sang this the way she should have -there were no shortcuts, or cutting out of certain high notes only to be replaced with awkward adlibs. Everything was sung perfectly live like it should have been and she sounded great. The arrangements were full length, which to me this is almost more important than the fact she sings it live... I honestly can't stand the cutting down and butchering of songs. Sorry, but I have no desire to see the 30 second version of Because You Loved Me she struggled her way thru in Vegas in 2003, nor do I care about the shortened performance of Beauty And The Beast in the Memphis DVD (or a Jamaica DVD which is further even more shortened). The Olympia concert is a good choice, but considering we have an official release already in amazing quality, it wouldn't be what I want to see most. Personally her concert at Winder Garden is how I'd like all her concerts to be. Primarily her own material, full arrangements, completely live, good vocals.
