He's a professional, I'm sure he wouldn't say anything bad.  He knows her voice was comprimised and working within that to do the best they both can.

While it's still sad she died...it's not a big surprise to see this is how it happened.

It was so expected.... What a waste! I still can't realize she's gone forever. I always knew her, but I only began to pay attention to her when she released I look to you. I so hoped that this album could be like a resurrection for her, but it was not. We've lost one of the greatest singers of her generation!

In Holland a special tribute concert took place, with some of Holland's best singers.
Among them was Glennis Grace, a girl who ows her career to Whitney,
as she was the winner of the Soundmixshow in 1994 with One Moment In Time.

I didn't understand why the songs didn't hit big, "I look To You" and "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" were
high quality songs.  I really think the press & radio got soured on her with all the crazy antics during her
marriage to bobby brown.  She should've gotten a Grammy nod for that album or at least the single.

This summer we will get a movie and some music from Whitney.  Maybe she'll get a Grammy nod next year.

They're paying tribute to Whitney on Glee, but I don't know when the episode will be aired... You can listen some of the songs that are being performed on Whitney's Official Website

VH1 will pay tribute to Whitney Houston for its next installment of  "VH1 Divas," Billboard has learned. The network will tape the performance in Los Angeles in December, with Houston's longtime musical director Rickey Minor on board as executive producer. No artists have been confirmed for the tribute to Houston, a three-time performer on "Divas" in 1999, 2002 and 2003.

I think it would be very nice if Celine did a tribute to her, but not a big sing like IWALY... It would be nicer if she did a lesser known simple song

That's a great idea. They are right, The Diva's format would be the perfect tribute for her. I would think IWALY should be performed as an ensemble piece at the end of the show. Celine may choose to perform something from the 80's, which would probably be her favourite Whitney period. She has already done SAMLFY and TGLOA in the past, so she might decide to re-do one of those. IF she performs. Please God she won't turn this down. She's surely going to be asked. If she and Mariah weren't there it would seem less poignant.

I voted for her at that lava lizard site. Just as well it's not the official vh1 site. So far she's only got 2.7% of the vote.

Oh I would absolutely Love it if our Celine sang a tribute to Whitney. They better ask her! It would be weird if she and/or Mariah weren't there.
I do have to confess that I'm a fan of both Fantasia, (and think she could do Whitney proud!!!!!!) and am a Christina Aguilera fan. I'm not sure her voice is cut out for a Whitney song, but it sounds like her fans want to see it. Although who knows if there will be another installment of `The Voice` going on by then...
Either way, I just really seriously hope Celine is asked. They'd be Stupid to turn it down, I don't think She would. As for what she would sing, I would not really care because I know it would be amazing/stupendous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Celine could easily nail big songs like IWALY, I Have Nothing, The Greatest Love Of All.... Those songs would be like a piece cake for her.

Yes I know, but people will only complain that Céline wanted to outshine Whitney! I meant do an easy simple song to be powerful, yet simple and respectful... like a tribute should be IMO
