I agree, it wasn't good.  As  a HUGE Whitney Houston fan I was disappointed.  There were inaccuracies and many things were left out.  2 hours with commercials isn't that long so I know things must be cut.

Did you guys hear about the letter Madonna wrote mentioning Whitney that just got leaked?  What kind of delusion?  I enjoy some of Madonna's early catalog, but if we're talking about natural talent, she's the epitome of mediocre.  The gall of her to try and come for Whitney.

I enjoy both.
Whitney was naturally more talented, I agree. But Madonna really makes the best out of what she has. People will often call her untalented, but I strongly disagree. I actually dislike the focus people put on inherent talent (that you are born with) over hard work, while I think the latter is infinitely more admirable.
Madonna is an extremely hard worker, a very talented business woman and excellent at marketing herself. She's also a way better performer than most of today's pop girls. Plus she's a good songwriter and dancer.
That said, she used to be very insecure and as a result jealous of people with more natural talent...The years mellowed her a bit, though. By the end of the nineties she actually seemed to like Whitney (who always seemed like a genuinely nice and warm person).

I think Madonna became a better vocalist because of Elvira. She had to work hard, and I think because of that she started to have more respect for singers like Whitney etc

Gosh, She was really the "Voice" and could sing other singers on the wall.

I agree. At her prime she had the best voice, but sadly it lasted so little. She's already lost clarity and power in 1992 due to her lifestyle. A real pity.
