Of course, it makes sense that one of them is Would I know. I forgot about that one for a moment.

What is Drop By Drop? Another song she recorded?

Do you know what happened to the remaining two songs?

Run like a river and Would I know were the unreleased tracks.

I believe it was Would I Know and Run Like a River, both written by Diane Warren.
It's Nothing Sacred was recorded for the LTAL album. ;)

And because of the new concept of the All The Way album they decided to release The Collector's Series. It would be great to have a Volume 2 with some great rare/unreleased songs and a dvd...

Interesting, maybe their original concept was for a "normal" GH and then they changed the concept and cover to ATW, because they had so many new songs.

I think that's what happened. That's the poster I was talking about. I really like it.

The process of putting together All the Way... A Decade of Song was laborious for all involved, from balancing the number of hits and new songs to ensuring that each of the latest tracks showed a new side of Dion. "We had hourly conversations, back and forth, about what the combination should be," said John Doelp, the album's co-executive producer. He added, "We wanted to make sure we had some new sounds and that we were able to go to new places". Co-executive producer Vito Luprano added: "The first idea was to record three new songs, then Dion said, 'Let's go for five,' her lucky number. But we had so many great songs coming in that we ended up recording nine. Out of that, we decided to go with seven".

So first they planed 3, then 5, recorded 9 and released 7 new hits for the album.

Thanks for these infos. It's always a pleasure to read something about her old releases.

I think one of the songs is Love Is Alive. And I think the other one is I Know What Love Is... which was later included on OH.

I think there is a full version and I think Anastacia s version has the same music that was used for Celine. Of course it's all guessing.

Yeah WIK is deffo a demo! Don't you hear that? The music isn't in full production and even Celines belts aren't full on album quality. Especially the big would I knooooooow. It sounds restrained, not a belt she would do for a final recording.

Yes it's seems to be the same song.

And I agree the production on WIK sounds incomplete/not full.

Thankfully I Know What Love Is saw the light of the day! I love the sound of her voice in it!

And I'm in love with how she looks in the cover of the all the way album. Whoever took that picture of her face is a genius, she's so fresh but reassuring. If only there was the same picture in full... I always wondered what there was as background.

Do you think that IKWLI is the 1999 recording, or did they rerecord it for OH?

I think that the voice is definitely from the 1999. No comparison to the other tracks of One Heart.

I'm pretty sure she re-recorded the song (if she indeed recorded it in 99) for OH. Her belts on it sounded dryer (if that makes sense) than how she would do it in 99. It was actually the very first song that I noticed her voice was already losing some of its power and richness. The vocals on OH and ANDHC have always sounded quite different to my ears.

OK LIA seems to be from 1999. But are we sure that IKWLI is from 1999 and not from the ANDHC recording-session 2001/2002.

Listening to Anastacias version of Love is Alive, I have to say that the song would kind of fit the All the way album, it would be in the same category as TTWII. However, it's much more "edgy" than the pop songs that ended up on the album. I think that it could have definitely been released as as a bonus track or a B-side on the TTWII single.

They can change the eq of her voice like they did in “Unfinished Songs”, the original version (the one released on her YouTube account BTS) sounds different from the one in the final edit that can be heard in her Loved Me Back To Life album 2013. Her voice seems louder and dry/crisp than on the original which sounded better and more natural.

I was almost saying the opposite...which means that to me Andhc and Oh are - as you said - the first albums where her voice is no longer perfect and not always pleasure to be heard (because of the age and because of how they rework it in post production, not always due to Celine herself) and IKWLI is a stand alone track that differs in a good way from all the others from OH, that's why I think it belongs to old glory days.

The album notes for IKWLI says lead vocals recorded by Humberto Gatica in Las Vegas, copyright 2003.

Not sure if that means anything or whether you can take an unreleased song recorded years earlier and then mix it and release it and just put a new copyright.

Yeah, I first checked the booklet too and saw the 2003. Don't clearly remember why I always thought IKWLI was meant to be part of a 1999 album but the 2003 copyright is strange. If walls could talk for instance has a 1995 copyright but maybe this is for a song already released that becomes a "cover". Need to check the "Miracle" song (if it was really recorded for Andhc).

Was All The Way originally supposed to be called "Then And Again"? Does anyone have any information on it? I've always wondered what that deal was.

Is there more promotional material with "Then And Again" than these posters?

I think it’s probably just a shitty translation... “Then and Again” doesn’t really make sense for an album title in English.

Are there any videos of Céline in the studio recording the new songs from this album? I remember seeing some behind the scenes of the photoshoot but nothing from the studio or the videos (except for the unreleased I Want You to Need Me one).

I would also love to see some videos of Celine recording this album. I wonder if any exist. I also wonder what months she recorded the new songs for this album? It was released on November 12, 1999.

I want this album to get a vinyl release. I wonder why it was never released on vinyl, but there is no reason why they can't do it now.

If we would get a vinyl release now, I wonder which song they would replace I'm Your Angel with. I assume they wouldn't include it on the album anymore if they would re-release it. I own the Australian version of All The Way, and I've always loved that Falling Into You is track 9 instead of I'm Your Angel. It's almost strange to me that Falling Into You isn't included on most versions of the album, but I've always been used to it being there.

Here's was I found in April of 2014 in a press article. I will try to find the exact source in the coming days:

Céline recorded the song "Then You Look At Me" at 11:30 p.m. (this was in June or July of 1999). Before the recording session, she had over five glasses of coffee and chose a lyrical repertoire to prepare her voice. Just as had happened with "Treat Her Like A Lady" two years earlier, Céline didn't know the rhythm of the song well, so she had to wait for the producer to sing it first and work on it for a few minutes.
It took an hour and half for Céline to record the entire song. She didn't leave the studio until she had heard the final mix. She left the studio, in which were David Foster and James Horner's team, at around 5:00 a.m., probably due to the coffee.

Five days after that session, Céline went back to the studio to record "That's The Way It Is" with Max Martin. This time, she decided not to listen to the final mix. She first heard the song two days later.

The next day, Céline went back to the studio to record Diane Warren't "I Want You To Need Me". Apparently she was tired and a bit discouraged during the recording session. "I love all the songs written by my friend Diane, she always writes me beautiful tracks" was the most Céline said that night.
Celine left the studio about an hour after she had arrived due to an intense headache.

The recording session for "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" took place a few days later. The songs "Live (For The One I Love)", "All The Way" and "If Walls Could Talk" were later recorded in that order.

Apparently, a Spanish version of the latter, called "Si Las Paredes Hablaran" was also recorded by Celine. This Spanish version was also composed by Robert Lange, and Celine was helped by an assistant for better pronunciation.

It was November when Céline arrived at a studio at 02:00 p.m. to film the video for "I Want You To Need Me" wearing a spectacular red dress. Unfortunately, the release of the video was cancelled a few weeks after the filming and its broadcast was forbidden for not being in line with the singer's public image. Both the singer and her husband admitted that the clip is more violent than fans could expect.

But before all that unreleased-music-video situation started, Céline filmed the video for "That's The Way It Is". Two blouses were considered for the video: one was white with small blue details and the other was a bit more basic.
