Don't you know she has said many times that we are her "extended family" to her?? We're all her little babies in the audience. The organization even put the show programs on the headrest of each seat so that could work as a pillow

I can't read all of this, but thanks Darren for speaking your mind thats what a forum is for... PEOPLE need to learn that forum is a place to voice opinons and stop attacking other people. We are NOT ALWAYS GONNA AGREE. I agree with CheerfulJane and Tyler Some people make it painful for me to read topics because people attack people for voicing their opinions.  thats like saying that a church is not a place to pray...well it is and a forum is place to voice opinions, ok im done and that BTW was a opinion like it or not i dont give a ****.

Although fans on this site (Which I LOVE) are entitled to their opinions, I don't think it was right for this person to speak on behalf or even mention the Celine Dion Forum. P.S. If you don't like the show, DONT GO!!! Simple as that!

This is hilarious.  "If you don't like the show, DONT GO!!!!"  It was Opening Night.  How the heck was someone to know what was going to happen without ruining it for themselves by reading spoilers?  That's classic.

They can make an inference based on the setlist.  There's bootlegs and video clips available. Idg what's so hard to understand about that.

Well of course... But there was a song list released. And if you don't like opening night, don't go again is what I meant. I don't see what was unclear.

This is ridiculous! We're CELINE DION'S FANS, we love her thru thick and thin, and even if we dislike some of her songs, it doesn't mean we have to gripe and groan about it?

Hasn't anyone ever told you all, "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all".
This is rude, and makes Celine Fans look like ungrateful brats.

I don't think people are pissed that people are speaking their voice, people are mad that some fans don't appreciate all the hard work Celine has put into performing these songs, just for her 'fans' to complain about them and say they're "boring". THAT'S why people are mad, not because of voicing their perspectives.

Being a Céline fan doesn’t mean we have to agree with everything she does. In fact, if we all agreed on everything, this forum would be what's boring. If we all had the same opinions, what would we discuss? Céline has said she wants our feedback! Sometimes a little constructive criticism is more helpful than a rave review. Instead of just saying how incredible it is, express how you think she can do even better. In my opinion, this article in no way expressed that we didn't like the show -- it only stated that some feel something was missing -- more of her own songs that we love. We all want her to succeed, and no one would ever doubt that.

I don't get why people are finding it to be so wrong to find songs or aspects of Celine's new show to be boring.  It's all personal opinion and taste.  It's not as if we're all saying Celine herself is boring or the entire show is boring.  I find the songs "A Song For You," "Tu nages" and "With This Tear" to be absolutely boring and coma-inducing, but I know there are individuals out there that love them.  Why is it alright for people to love a song/songs of Celine's, but it's not alright for others to not?

Personally speaking, I criticize Celine all the time, so I would never deny someone their right to an opinion.  Darren has always been one of the most constructive members in the forum.  When I first read that article (before it was even posted here), as someone who enjoyed the set-list I saw it as one fan apparently contacting a journalist to speak for all the fans.  It was just the way the article was phrased, and the quote that was used.  If it had just said "some fans" like in the title I don't think there would even be an issue, but in the body of the article it says otherwise.  It's like everything blew up over an issue of semantics in a tiny part of one meaningless news article.

To be honest I feel like an #ss and a broken record at this point so I'm going to take a sabbatical from posting so that I will stop annoying people.  I just don't get all the "why am I getting crucified for my opinion" posts when it was never about people not being able to express their own opinion but about people speaking for others.

I've said many times that whatever Celine does she cant please everybody.  Someone wants this song, another person wants a different song!!
The show needs to not only appeal to die hard fans like us but to just anyone visiting LV wanting to see a show.

Whatever changes are made to the show, if any, there will still be some people not happy with it.  Some people are saying middle section is
boring, but also there will be other people who enjoyed the slow songs very much.  We all like different things and we need to respect other
peoples thoughts and opinions.

Personally I dont really care what she sings, as long as I get to see the show, which wont be until next year anyway, so the show may have changed significantly from now.  We'll have to wait and see

The show is worth a trip to Las Vegas.  (Granted, it's easy for me to say with only being an hour or so flight away.)  There are many memorable moments ("Where Does My Heart Beat Now") and breathtaking performances ("Open Arms" & "The Reason").    I hope you'll try to get out to see the show sometime soon.  Irregardless of the lack of her own material, the show is still head and shoulders above all the other Las Vegas shows and tours out there.

Four US people is cheap to go, you have got many flights and good prices. If a want to go the trip is going to cost me arouned 2500 dollars...

The USA is a huge country and travel from one state to another is not just a quick trip, nor inexpensive. So yes, your travel costs may be more than ours, but its definitely not cheap...its Vegas, after all.

I'm from Canada, Canada is allot smaller than the U.S. But it is still expensive to go to Vegas, you got the Hotel Room, Flight, Food, Celine Tickets, Shopping, and also if you gamble. Personally, I can't wait to Celine in less than three months. I am so excited to go, it will be my third time seeing Celine live.    Also about the show, if use die hard fans wanted more songs that we wanted her sing. Also, there are people at the show that aren't die hard fans like us that are at the show. So its kinda hard, to add more songs to the show. Most of the people, at the show won't now the songs at all. They will be hearing these songs, for the first time.

Things like Ryan Air and Easy Jet do not exist in the United States.  You can disagree all you want, but the figures and facts tell more.  

Sure, I could drive to Vegas thanks to highways.  But the cost of gasoline would be huge, and it would be a 24 hour drive.
