I like Whitney especially her songs cos most of her her songs are really beautiful, especially the old ones. I can say I'm a fan of her too but I'm Celine's biggest fan.

Well, Whitney's rumored to be performing at Clive Davis's Pre-Grammy Party again this year. She was also at BET Honors, which airs February 9.

Video of Whitney's performance at the pre-grammy party!
It definitely sounds better than some of her train wreck performances she's had not so long ago, but I'm still not that impressed.

Not bad at all, but now they're saying the album will be put out by the end of the year. This is a case similar to GNR's "Chinese Democracy," which saw the light a billion years after it was first announced.

Bringing Whitney Houston Back

Move over Britney, Whitney Houston is ready to take the title of comeback queen. And David Foster, the legendary hit-maker for stars ranging from Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion to Madonna and Michael Jackson, is finally talking about his reunion with the superstar.
Foster collaborated with Houston on the blockbuster soundtrack single "I Will Always Love You." He knows fans are wondering if she's ready to resume her hugely successful career after years battling her personal demons.
Q: You and Whitney are finally together again. How is she doing?
David Foster: I was in the studio with her last week. She's in great shape and she looks good. We have this fantastic song that Diane Warren wrote and we went in and recorded it. It went really well. Her work ethic was exactly the way it was when we did the song for The Bodyguard. She worked incredibly hard for two nights and we came up with something really good.
Q: Whitney has been through some tough times. Do you think she has her life and career back on track?
DF: I think she's going to have a great album out within the year. Whitney is a girl that everybody would like to see come back and, in this case, it really would be a comeback. A lot of people say, 'Come back? I never left.' But Whitney did leave and she hasn't recorded in about 10 years, I believe. So this truly would be a comeback.
Songwriter Diane Warren had something to say about the the song she wrote for Houston.
Q: What's the song about, Diane?
Diane Warren: I don't usually write music with someone in mind. But I set out to write this song specifically for Whitney and it's called "I Didn't Know My Own Strength." It definitely touches on her life, but I think a lot of people will relate to it because they've gone through hard times too.
Q: How was her performance?
DW: I was praying that Whitney was going to be able to nail it and she exceeded my expectations. She sang the s*** out of that song. Seriously, it was amazing. I'll tell you something, Whitney is back. Let there be no doubt.

Q: David, let's talk about your new book in which you don't leave out the painful times in your own life.
DF: It was a little bit cathartic, but it I'm glad I did it. You forget the things you want to forget, but a lot of it stays.
Q: You didn't forget to include the ups and downs of doing the reality TV show The Princes of Malibu with your wife and kids, which took some hard knocks from critics.
DF: I don't regret doing it. Good things have come out of it. I wanted to be divorced from my wife Linda Thompson and the TV show helped that along. My son Brandon wanted to do music and he's getting his chance. My other son, Brody, wanted to do television and now he's on The Hills. So I think it was kind of a win for everybody.
Q: How would you define that star quality that surrounds the musical legends you've worked with?
DF: My definition of a superstar is somebody that when you walk in a room, you know they're in the room even if you don't see them. And, conversely, when they leave the room, you know they're gone without seeing them leave. There's just an energy that is taken out of the room when they're gone.
Q: What's guided the phenomenal success you've had in the music business?
DF: Just be content. Just take a breath. If you don't know what to do, wait until tomorrow. Don't make any knee jerk decisions. It could ruin your career.

Yes it will Nikos..Whitney isn´t like Mariah or Celine she has been through hell and i think we should not say negative things ..i love Whitney and i am a big fan of hers and happy she looks so healthy and beautiful.
She will come back soon..and Mariah will not outshine her this time..but be equal to her and Celine.
That is what i believe.

She's in great shape and she looks good. That's why she can't even speak a whole sentence on the Grammy night? And how many topics do we need about her "come back" album?

I admire Whitney for overcoming what she went through.
As for comebacks... She hasn't even made one yet so how can she have had several?
Anyway, when she finally does make her comeback i'll be listening.

Whitney hasn´t have any comebacks they were only rumours then..but now it´s true a new song has leaked onto the internet called Like I Never Left featuring Akon her vocals are mediocre so she doesn´t outshine Akon´s vocals and i think it reminds me of Mariah type of R&B Ballad.
Hope she has a better powerful song on her upcoming album cause She´s working with David Foster again.
