You know it is still possible this was TWO people in the household. A man and a woman who were both mixed up emotionally. I was telling Angel recently that WDT had dramatically changed their personality after being annoyed with us 'sensitive' people, and I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or genuine in his more recent positive posts. Perhaps they switched 'characters' Quien sabe?

It really shook me up too. I had the opposite problem though, it kept me UP on a night when I wanted to catch up on some sleep from my weekend trip to see Celine. However, i'm oke now. But I totally understand the sense of betrayal you feel that has disturbed you on such on a high level.

I feel the same way as Krys. I think I unconsciously sensed something macabre about the whole situation. Why was WallsDoTalk so annoying in the English section and came just once to the Spanish section and was like the nicest person, with kisses and all (Bellamy, stop ).

Then, a couple of days ago on a Celine game about unscrambling the letters to a song, I made a suggestion and she overtly said that it was annoying, and the next day grobandion said that he really liked my suggestion.

Later, celineargento PMs me with apologizes (she even stated on the game thread that she couldn't reach me, and she badly needed to apologize. I later did receive the PM and she was really nice, saying that she had had a bad week, and if I could forgive her. I told her that it was nothing to worry about, and asked her why she did not post in the Spanish section. Next thing I know is that she went over there and blew kisses at everyone again.

Well, all that glitters isn't gold after all. How sad.

Eddie, are you still in denial? All 3 account had similar email addresses, all 3 logged on and off one after another on many occassions to read/post. And all 3 had different skins. This person was obviously careful of what it is doing. The evidence is overwhelming!

When my attention was first drawn to this matter, I was devastated. I simply couldn't believe that GD was the same person as celineargento and WallsCanTalk. Especially WCT, who seemed so rude and unpleasant.

I was too shocked and tired to reply. I have exchanged a few PMs with grobandion and he was always so sincere and friendly. He was probably one of the people I chatted to most. Like Peggi, I had come to see him as a friend. So I was very upset when I discovered what has been happening.

A day has passed now though and I have had time to think about the whole thing. I know many of you feel cheated and deceived (and rightly so) but I really don't think saying things like freak, creep or psycho is particularly helpful. Especially if the person can still read this board. Although I don't think it is the case, this person might have serious issues and reading comments like that can only make matters worse. I do not believe this person has deliberately set out to deceive us for any harmful or vicious reason. I personally had dealings with both Natti and GD and it was like dealing with two different people. Both were very friendly and Natti was particularly flattering. Not once did they bad name anybody in the forum or try to stir up trouble in any way. That's why I found it so hard to accept that this could happen.

In my attempt to salvage some truth from all of this, I truly believe that Oscar is a real person. He joined about the same time I did and his story never changed. His personal photos are the most credible and his personality was also very consistent. Natti's personal photos seemed slightly different (with the second looking much younger). As for WCT, I can't say I paid him much attention, especially when I noticed him getting progressively more obnoxious. I might be wrong, though. I don't know how a dentist would find the time and energy to post (regularly) under three different guises, but if any of the users are real, I think it is Oscar. That is why it is so upsetting: he had no reason to create the other characters and now that it has been discovered very few people (if any) will be able to trust him again.

Personally, I think Oscar did this simply for his own entertainment and to shake things up a little. I can't speak for anybody else here, but I was never asked for personal information, I was never put in a difficult position by neither Natti or GD. There was never a bad word said about anyone and no attempt to cause trouble. Somebody has already suggested here that the different user accounts were created in order to keep certain threads rolling. I think this might be a fairly accurate assessment.

Here's what I think: grobandion was fed up with people hitting on him. He created the straight thread. Natti also appeared to flirt with him... a useful tool to show him engaging with a woman. As an extension, WCT was then created as a very assertive straight male. This confirms that straight men are allowed to like Celine Dion! GD no longer has to feel concerned. At the same time, if a particular thread was getting stale or dull one of them would make an appearance and keep things ticking over. Since the tour started, there has been little by way of news or activity so it did make things interesting at times. Unfortunately, knowing that many of us responded to threads or provocations that were completely fabricated will probably upset quite a few people.

What I really don't understand is why WCT became increasingly unpleasant. I wouldn't say he was particularly threatening, but he always had a contreversial view point. I've read elsewhere that he was very offensive to some members via PM so I can't really defend him. But it seemed to me that the different user accounts only served to keep people talking. Natti and GD were perfectly pleasant in every respect. One thing I find hard to understand is why Oscar (or whoever is behind this) would have conversations between the different users. I unerstand why a different user might provoke a response from other people on here but I don't see the point in creating a false dialogue (unless it was just to give the impression of authenticity or to demonstrate heterosexual flirting).

I still find it hard to separate the two in my mind. Who knows, celineargento might be GDs wife. I just wish we could get some answers... Maybe it was just a bit of fun; maybe it was just a way of passing time; I think (with the exception of WCT) that all personal correspondences were genuine. I don't think Oscar set out to be cruel or deceive intentionally for any bad reason. Maybe it is more serious: maybe this person is struggling with their identity or even their own sexuality. All characters were very different in their beliefs and orientation, after all. Or maybe I'm completely off the mark and it is none of this...

Whatever has happened, though, I'll miss grobandion posting here. I do think he is who he claims to be. For nine months, he quite happily posted as one member and I see no reason to doubt who he is.

And Peggi, if it helps, I believe that your exchanges with him were very real, that his love of Josh Groban and Celine Dion was genuine and that he really did/does value you. Unfortunatley, his little game has backfired and he has lost the trust of most people here but I do believe that Oscar exists and that you can believe whatever was said in your emails...

tonybower, I was waiting for your response to this and, as usual, your take on the whole situation is the most generous and kind, not only to Oscar (who I, too, think may be the real one) but to the people here who interacted and corresponded with him.  I would like to thank you for trying to re-instill my faith in mankind and for giving a positive slant to my exchanges with him.  I just hope that what you think is true.  I am really tempted to email Oscar and ask him about this.  I would be curious to see if he emails me back and if he has an explanation or justification for what he did or if he just denies the whole thing.

I am curious about what he has to say because I interacted with the three subjects involved, and I would like to know what really happened, as it is very baffling. I don't know if the explanation or whatever he says will be totally credible or not, but we can give the person the benefit of the doubt.

Peggi, I think you are very kind to get in touch with him. You are probably one of the very few people who have his personal email address. Most people would either cut off all contact or send him abuse! I'm glad you are able to contact him, even if nothing comes of it.

Like I said, I genuinely believe Oscar is a fundamentally nice person who didn't necessarily make the right decisions. My guess is, the increasingly odd behaviour of WallsDoTalk is what led to him being caught out. It's a shame really because even if he replies now I think we will always have the doubt at the back of our mind. My guess is, he regrets what has happened as much as we do. It all seems so unnecessary because the different users (or 2/3) were not used to create contreversy or trouble amongst members here, or even to spread rumours about Celine (which has happened here before). It really was like we had three genuine members on here. That's what makes it all the more sad.

I hope we get to hear his side of the story.

No Peggi, you're not an idiot. I know what it feels like when you have put your trust on a person with whom you've shared amazing experiences at the friendship level, and then a bizarre situation like this happens. I know I joked about some situations with the peeps here last night, but I'm totally intrigued as most of the people are. So you're the only one who can provide us with some answers, if there are any.

I'm on this forum only by coincidence, stumbled on it when researchnig an article, liked it and now I take a look now and then - I don't know the members that well - so I don't have a opinion aobut the person dicussed. But you analysis seems very sound psychologically, well reasoned - and kind at the same time. Chapeau!

Peggi, way to go with the email. I think if anybody deserves a real response it's you. I just hope that he admits why rather than denies it. It's just really saddening when you being to put faith and trust in people then this happens. I hope he replies
