So I just heard the new Maroon 5 song featuring Christina - 'Moves Like Jagger,' and I really, really hate it. Christina sounds good on it, but the song is just awful - terrible lyrics, pain-inducing production - basically, the same overprocessed-synthy-crap-over-hip-hop-beats thing that is already all over the radio, except there's also this recurring whistle in the background that I really can't stand. I'm so disappointed, especially at Maroon 5 for selling out like that.
This is the first Christina song I don't think I can even stand to have on my playlist. Other people were like "its so fun!" but I still loathe it completely...

I used to be OBSESSED with Christina between the ages 12-15. But after her Stripped album I didn't really like the path she went. I wasn't really a fan of Back to Basics nor Bionic. I think she oversang and the songs were not that great. I hope she can go back to singing "normally" lol I don't know how to put it...I just feel like she screams more than sings and its hard to understand what she is saying. I also would love to have an album closer to the Stripped era. I also wish she wouldn't wear so much make up. She is very beautiful naturally.
Celine, you are so inspirational, beautiful, entertaining, talented and special. Don't ever change!

Xtina sings LCMM at Mickey Mouse Club! For a kid, she's great!
Weird seeing her sing a Celine song even at that age. I highly doubt she's a fan of Celine!

I really like Christina she has a powerhouse voice and good songs but she was at her prime
during the Stripped Era after that i haven't been so much into her but Back To Basics was a good
album very 60's sounding.
My favorit albums by her are.
1: Debut 1999.
2: Mi Reflejo 2000.
3: Stripped 2002.
4: Back To Basics 2006.
Between 2007-2010 not so good.
I do wonder how her new album Lotus
will sound like i know she works with Celine's
producers from Sweden "Max Martin and co.

I heard it just once and I can say that there are good songs on it but in some way I could feel very little Christina. Most songs sound to me like too much influeneced by other artists. My favourite so far is 'Just a Fool'.

There are songs where she sounds a little like Adele or songs that remind me the style of Rihanna... Don't get me wrong, I like the album but I miss Christina in a way.

Please buy Lotus as soon as possible! It's such a good album. I wasn't a total fan of Bionic but this album is amazing and she deserves to do well!!! My fav songs off of it are Just a Fool, Red Hot Kinda Love, Let There Be Love and Army of Me.

I may buy the album too, but is it really any good? I bought Bionic and don't like it much.
And watching the charts I see Lotus not doing well at all. What's happening?

I was listening to 'Lotus' last night and thought that I really like 'Shut Up'. It's like I've been needing to hear such a song without even realising it...until it finally hit me. It's very good. And I can hear the 'real' Christina on this song.

I don't own one Christina album, but I happened to listen to Lotus and think it's incredible. There are a few amazing songs, most are great, only a few I don't listen to. I think it's awesome. She screams a lot though, I don't know how her voice keeps up. It won't last forever.

I bought the deluxe version of Lotus. It has some really great songs.
My favorite is Army Of Me.
There are only two songs I don't like at all: Circles and Shut Up.

Wonder why exactly has "Lotus" flopped so hard? Is it the quality of the music, or Christina's personality (I've read about it somewhere) and her not being a very likeable person.
I myself kinda liked some of the tracks, especially "Blank Page" and "Let There Be Love".
I guess that Christina's management has a lot to think about what to come up with next time, the third flop in a row would be a disaster for her career.
