i was impressed with TLYM actually...she did it really well. i love that they added more of a contemporary sound towards the end with an acoustic guitar and got the auidence clapping along

Was it me or did they make it all techno-y at the end?? Haha. Anyways, I think Charice has talent, but for me she's more suitable singing Whitney songs than Celine's. But good nonethless.

It's just Celine's vocals coming from the audio band . That's not lipsynching. She's not pretending to sing, she sings over the band.

I've actually never listened to TLYM. I am 100% sure she is NOT doing that last part live. It actually sounds like Celine's vocals... And she shouts in some parts...

By the way, is she having an orgasm or something around 2:50? It just looks tooooo WEIRD!

Charice wasn't lipping the end. The end was definitely Celine's vocal. She wasn't even moving her lips to it, she was still singing along to it. It wasn't live, but you can't call it lipped when she made no attempt to "lip it"...there was no attempt to decieve people into thinking it was her.

it wasn't lipsynched. it was live from the start to the finish. It's just that the song had background vocals. So before she actually pulled the mic away from her, we don't really hear her voice. Blame it the the techs, they should have checked the volume of the background vocals so we could still hear Charice's voice.

For the fact that she has covered celine's songs wayyyy too much and her tech people had the audacity to have celine's vocals as a background for Charice, i'm still convinced that there has to be a conspiracy at some time. Maybe it's just wishful thinking...still a little bitter that she doesn't freaking sing her own songs. Copying someone else's vocal abilities can only get ya so far. Her song, pyramid i think its called?, was great and she needs to do more promotion for her songs.

Her pitch is all over the place in TLYM.   Her album actually has some decent music but somehow these live performances are lacking in emotional honesty.

Now, there's a Youtube comment that labels Celine fans "a bunch of ungrateful sobs" for calling Foster a has-been desperate to relive the heady days.

Anyway... the fact that Charice was sporadicly shouting along with Celine's vocals during the ending is just plain silly and even worse than if she'd have miming (or singing along) to her own vocals.

What irritates me is when Charice sings only Celine/whitney songs for David Foster
on his concerts and he hails her all the time like she is the best and he forgets
about the true artist who made those songs classics.
I don't know why but Celine is better than Charice and her vocalrange
is wider than Charice's.

I honestly think David is just really desperate to find the next Celine. But while doing so he's pushing Charice to fit the mold that Celine has filled. He's gonna have to accept that no one needs to be the next Celine, they need to be themselves.
