Mozinha Posted December 25, 2005 at 12:00 PM Posted December 25, 2005 at 12:00 PM OMGI just fell in love with Celine again. This interview is BRILLIANT.Yes, they go back in time and talk about her life (and they mentioned René's cancer again.... ) but now it's so different. Celine sounds so true, so honest and so mature, more than ever. It's amazing how she looks back on her past. I was listening to her and I had goosebumps. No way we can compare this Celine Dion to the Titanic Celine back in 97/98. She has achieved an unbelievable level of maturity. And I'm so sorry this interview is french because no translation will be 100% faithful to the whole feeling and won't do justice to Celine's amazing words. You can sense so much love and happiness in her thoughts and words and even the way she speaks is different now. She has such wisdom no school could teach... it's all about the school of life. It's amazing how she turned her 25 years of showbiz into an amazing life experience of happiness, no regret and optimist thoughts for the future. I loved loved loved loved loved this show, thanks so much guys for giving us the chance to see this. I won't be able to do a full translation for the next couple of days. I mean guys it's Christmas and I have a family too and since I'm at work, I'll take the next two days to spend time with them. I'll start next wednesday. Mozinha Posted December 31, 2005 at 10:57 AM Posted December 31, 2005 at 10:57 AM Sorry I couldn't make this earlier. As I told you in the off-topic, my computer is retarded and the sound won't work.I'm at work right now so I can't make a detailed translation so here comes a quick one, the most complete I can manage to do. Part 4: -Celine says that if everything stopped now (success and all this stuff) she wouldn't bother because she is not holding on to that. - The most important thing for her is having her own projects, feeling love for other people, being loved by other people and having her son. She will never loose this because is lives inside of her. - She is aware she might loose people she loves and she tries to find a way to be strong about it - She is holding on to the happiness in her life, not to other things. - The projects she says she has on her mind right now for the future are not really professional projects. - Celine talks about Eddy Marnay and how impressed she was by him. - She talks about when she went to France when she was a teenager, she felt she was not too cute because she was a teen with bad teeth and her arms were too big (LOL), she didn't feel beautiful and it was hard to live it in front of an audience. - It didn't matter that she wasn't too pretty because she made a career no matter that beauty she had. But inside of her it was hard. She wanted to please people and be loved. People were telling her she had a nice voice but she wanted people to tell her she was beautiful too. -It was very hard for her to go through all these teenager changes, it was like being nude in front of the audience. -She was not a rebellious teenager. Sometimes she felt more like a little girl and sometimes she felt more like a young woman and she wanted to be beautiful and please people. She never felt any rebellious feeling, like a war inside of herself like many teenagers do. -Janette asked how it felt when she started to be recognized as a singer and just shinning more than her other siblings. Celine says they never felt like this because they are happy for her. She never wanted her siblings to feel that there was a difference between her and them. She might have done a lot more things then they did but she doesn't want to the number one of her family. She was to be the last one has she has always been. -When she had transition from the little girl to the young lady she had already been famous for a while and her team had the feeling that her fans didn't want to see her let go the "little girl". It was like they fans had adopted her and they were seeing her as if they were her daughter growing up and they didn't really wanted her to grow. So they needed to change her, they needed her to make an evolution and it would have been very difficult for her to make this big change from little girl to young woman in front of the fans so they wanted her to be forgotten by they audience. -So she stopped for a while to live through her transition into a woman, to have braces and other stuff. -She did not have many surgeries on her mouth as people claim all the time. They just took a few teeth from her and put the braces -Janette tells Celine has a top model body. Celine looks so shy here LOLOL -Celine says she was wearing large dresses when she was younger because she was too thin. Then she grew up and started using jeans and showing off more of her body and her body was changing into a woman too. She also took care of her hair... and then came Incognito. (sorry I don't have part 3 on this computer) Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v487/welovecelinedion/howcute5gv2.jpghttp://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/d/4;10501;104/st/20080413/e/my+graduation/dt/4/k/f5ff/event.png "And really - isn't NOT caring about what others think of you the hallmark of a cool person?"
Mozinha Posted December 31, 2005 at 11:43 AM Posted December 31, 2005 at 11:43 AM Part 5 - Janette says that with Incognito Celine turned into a sexy woman, had sexy outfits, there was a big change - Celine's mother was still traveling with her all the time by that time. - Celine says she takes her mother along with her whenever she has some vacation. -Celine's mother was always by her side when she was younger to protect her because they knew little about this whole showbiz and her mother didn't want to leave her unprotected and alone. If Celine hadn't been the youngest of her family her mother couldn't have been there for her the way she was. -Celine thanks God for her mother being there for her when she was younger because her mother was the balance in her life. -Janette says Celine was like a butterfly coming out of her cocoon. And she had a heart of a 17 years old. And then asked if Celine remembers when did she fall in love with René - Celine says that she probably fell in love with René on the first moment they met. People may judge her for being in love with him when she was this young but she says that love is a big concept and there are many ways you can love someone. At the beginning she loved René as someone who was close to her all the time and all he wanted was the best for her, she admired his sensibility, the fact that he knew what he was doing and she thought we was very handsome. She loved him for being very delicate, very mature and because he knew how to speak to her even if she was very young. She loved the way he was so respectful with everyone around him. She loved everything about him. She admired him and loved him. She trusted him always, she knew he never wanted anything bad to happen to her and he always protected her in his own way. - She said he didn't have 2nd intentions back then. He loved her very humbly and sincerely, mostly like a father on the very beginning. -She said that after she decided to wear some jeans, his love changed (LOLOL) - Celine said her mother felt like killing René many times (LOLOL) because he had been married 2 times and had 3 children already and Celine was just a young heart with no experience so her mother was very worried. She didn't want René to come closer to Celine, she wanted him to stick to his business and not touching her daughter. - Celine was telling her mother all the time that she really loved René. But her mother had listened the same words from Celine's older sisters and sometimes it had never lasted a long time. - She was never aggressive with her mother when it came to discuss about René because she loved her mother very much and she knew her mother was right to be against it. She knew her mother only wanted the best for her but she tried to find a way to make her mother understand that her love was for real. -Her mother argued with René about this many times. She told him not to touch her daughter. She really felt like killing René (LOLOL poor man) - Celine joked and told Janette to ask her mother about these arguments with René and she gave permission to her mother to tell all the truth! -Celine says she never lied to her mother when she told her "I love René for real". She never lied to her mother neither to herself neither to René. -Celine remembers the first kiss with René back in Dublin, her mother was not travelling with her on that time. -Celine says that kiss was the beginning of her life. (awwwwwwwwwwww ) - Celine knew she had to tell her mother about what happened in Dublin between her and René. And when she was going to tell her mother about it, her mother had guessed it already. -Celine said she was sure of her love but at the same time she did not want to hurt her mother. She never wanted to confront her mother. She never wanted to be disrespectful. She wanted her mother to read the love in her eyes. She was telling her mom that she knew this love story was not a perfect love story with a prince charming with her age but her love for René was real love. To make her mother believe the love was real, she had to let time go by and let her mother see it. - Celine says her love for René has been very passionate because it was a longtime dream. She used to sleep with a picture of him under his pillow smelling his cologne. She used to fall asleep holding the telephone and talking to him. (awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww) - This love still lives in her and it's very passionate -She does not regret anything in her relationship with René because they know how to make it last. -She says that their love is even more wonderful now. - She made a brilliant comparison between a love relationship and a wrapped gift: "Why a gift comes wrapped? It's to make the pleasure last. It's for having a chance to listen to it and touch it and ask ourselves what it has inside and if we really know what we want and wonder if we will be happy with it. Take off the ribbon, you don't want to damage the wrapping, you don't want it to fall apart but sometimes it does and it's always to discover something amazing" Wow, this last quote is BRILLIANT! Celine= words of wisdom LOL Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v487/welovecelinedion/howcute5gv2.jpghttp://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/d/4;10501;104/st/20080413/e/my+graduation/dt/4/k/f5ff/event.png "And really - isn't NOT caring about what others think of you the hallmark of a cool person?"

Mozinha Posted December 31, 2005 at 12:01 PM Posted December 31, 2005 at 12:01 PM Nope, I didn't make myself clear, sorry. She said to Janette she was not holding on to singing anymore, she is holding on to life and sharing love and to some projects she has on her mind. Janette told her something like "projects means you are still holding on to the singing" and Celine answered that the projects she was talking about are not professional projects. Anyways, on this Janette interview Celine was talking about her personal life projects and saying that these projects are the most important thing for her right now. This doesn't mean she is not serious about her professional projects. As a matter of fact I believe more than ever that she really is serious and motivated about it. Otherwise she would not tell it in her biography. And the way she talked about it leaves me no doubt she is really motivated do it... but in her own pace. Mozinha Posted December 31, 2005 at 12:35 PM Posted December 31, 2005 at 12:35 PM (edited) Part 6 - Celine never missed having the whole teenage romance with boys of her age because since she was very young she was sure she only wanted one man in her life. She had seen her mother who only had one man in her life, René's mother too. She was very impressed by the love stories of the woman who only had one man. And she really wanted this for herself. - Celine doesn't really like traveling; she does it because she knows she has to. When she is traveling she is thinking of the moment it will end. She loved what she does but when she is traveling she is always thinking of the moment she will finally sit down. Sitting down is not retirement because she wants to sing for a very long time at the same time as having a life and controlling her own life. For the last 25 years her vocal chords controlled her life. Her throat, her voice rules everything. - She has to take care of her voice. It's her instrument. She can't change the chords like a guitar. She must stop talking, can't laugh too hard, must prepare herself for a show tomorrow or for next week of for next month. -She thinks of her voice all the time, she has no choice. The discipline has been ruling her life until today. Now she wants to control her own life. This doesn't mean she will stop singing. She wants to make shows for charity and make a difference. She wants to prepare it herself on the right time. -She just wants to sit down and invite people. She thinks her house is beautiful and she is very lucky to have everything she has but she hardly spends time in this house. She is always invited and people ask her questions all the time. Now she wants to invite people to her house and ask them questions. She wants to have her own friends coming to her house. She wants too cook and do some gardening. She wants to make a party for her son's friends. She wants RC to invite his friends to his house to play. -She wants to sit down and look back in her past. This has never happened to her. - Celine wants to have a normal life like everybody else because she never lived it. - Celine says nothing is perfect. We when we have nothing we want to have everything. When we have everything we dream to go back to nothing. -When they arrived to Quebec the house was already decorated for Christmas. But in Vegas they decorated their own Christmas tree. It's not wonderful as the ones in her Quebec house but it means a lot more to her. -She just wants to laugh like crazy until she looses her voice. -She doesn't want to be stressed when she has a sore throat. She just wants to heal it at home with chamomile tea, hot chocolate, with a caress from René and sleep on the couch having her son close to her. This is happiness for her. This is what she is looking for, for this peace. -All the traveling she must do takes her to a place closer to where she wants to be. She does it now so she can sit and relax in the future, in a rocking chair or a sofa and look back at her past and see what she has done. -She is not afraid of missing her singing. She doesn't know if she miss the applause because she never really stopped singing. When she stopped for 2 years it was too little time for her to have time to miss the applause. She had René-Charles for these 2 years and she didn't really had time to miss it. - Celine says she definitely doesn't want to stop singing. Barbra Streisand is still out there working, Paul McCartney still goes on tour. She wants this too, to give concerts from time to time. Why she wants to keep doing music? Because she really has a desire to do it. - Celine says she is singing right now because she really has a desire to sing and because she can control her life. From what I understand from this, Celine will never stop. She has always told that and I always believed her. But as I think it's clear, she is not looking for number ones and selling millions. She just wants to it do because she loves it. And this is why I think she is taking very seriously her plans for jazz and rock and classical music for her future. It's because it's past the time when she had to build a career. Now that she has it and she is on top she doesn't want to sacrifice anything anymore. She wants to try new music and keep doing it because she just loves it! tativale Posted December 31, 2005 at 01:03 PM Posted December 31, 2005 at 01:03 PM Since a very long time -- since she came back to showbusiness that she doesn't care about numbers and etc. She changed a lot during her break, with Rene-Charles etc. And I'm very happy for her, because those changes were very good for her. Everything has changed since then. She is just holding the true values in life, what is really true. And I think it's so beautiful! Mozinha Posted December 31, 2005 at 01:45 PM Posted December 31, 2005 at 01:45 PM - Cancer... (AGAIN! why make her remember it in every interview? ) - Celine says she had to be very strong when she heard the news about the cancer because she wanted to help René. - She knew it was her time to support him, encourage him, help him so she could not fall apart. -He put her in control of their lives for the first time and she liked it. She felt very good and she found out he really needed her. She was not the singer anymore, she was the one who would lift him up and help him. She felt very strong -When she was alone she was telling herself that this cancer was a normal thing to happen. Their life just couldn't be perfect. Her life, her career, René, the success, the happiness, it had all been perfect and now it was getting a balance. - Cancer is never a good experience. And it's still a part of them all the time. René is always afraid it will come back even if the 5 years deadline already passed. When he has a sore throat they are afraid it came back. When he has some pain they think it's back... - She didn't want to think, back them, that she was afraid to loose him. It would have been even harder for him. She would comfort him on his bad days. She would tell him it was normal to have these bad days because of the chemo, she would explain what was going on inside of his body, telling him it was like a war going on inside of him but it would make him win. - Janette asked Celine from where all her strength comes from. Celine said it comes from love. (awwwwwwwwwww) It comes from believe. She believes in life and death. When we believe we have passion. "When we have passion we have a desire. And when we have desire we have hope. And when we have hope we have everything" (Celine Dion words of wisdom!) -Janette told Celine she is on top. She can't go higher than where she is now because there is no higher place. What can she do now? Celine answered she wants to go back to where she came from. - Celine says she never wanted to become this big. She never saw this in her dreams. She just wanted to be loved, please people and sing. -"For me, being on top is having both feet anchored on the ground" (This one was brilliant! Celine's words of wisdom! Even Janette wanted to write this down not to forget it) -Janette asked if being on top mean having one foot on the ground and the other on the sky. Celine said "Being on top is having both feet on the ground and the head above the clouds" (wow again!!!!) - She talks about Les Chemins de ma maison and she wants to come back home, to her path and to her childhood. -Being one stage, for her, is like living many characters. She has a lot of fun, she shares a lot with the audience. -But for her, the return to her roots means find the centre of everything, finding her soul, her home, the fire in her fireplace and other things Eddy wrote in her song. -Celine thinks we always look for the opposite to what we have. When we have everything we look for the simple things. "I just want to get rid of my luggage. My suitcase is never ready to leave but it leaves all the time" - She is not afraid of getting older. It's the opposite. She can't wait to go through the years when she is between young and old. She knows the best is yet to come for her. -She just wants to see things, listen and stop talking. She thinks it's her time to listen. She wants to go to shows and listen to others, ask questions. She wants to wonder: what I'm going to do today? She is always runing after time because she must have a shower now and then do her hair and then make up and then she's late.... and this disturbs her because time just goes by... - Celine was asked about her relationship with money. She said it's very hard. One part of her wants to say that money doesn't matter and she wanted to live a humble life like her childhood and she wanted to give her son the same gift. But why make him sleep in a drawer when she can give him the best bed in the world? She thinks they are lucky to have money and she earned it. They need it to send her son to school or when we gets sick. When a child is sick no money in the world can pay health but we need it to buy medicine and treatment. She talked about St Justine hospital; they needed money to offer the best treatment to the kids. This just shows how much money is important when it comes to health. She wishes no one would ever need money. But, at the same time she is happy because she can give her son a future. It's not only money that gives a future to a child, of course but she is happy to be able to give him this part of his future as well as all the other things he will need. She can also give gifts to the ones she loves and spoil them. Money, for her, can be a bad thing but is important too for live. - She thinks sometimes of what she would do if she ever lost all of her money. She wonders if she could just find a job for herself. And she believes that yes she would find a job for herself no matter what job. It would be very hard but she would really find a job for herself, do no matter what, since cleaning, washing dishes, baby-sit and take care of children in a hospital. If she ever needed to do this she is sure she would be able to do it. (wow) - Janette asked what live brought to her? What's the difference between Celine now and the 12 year old Celine? - Celine thinks she is not different. She just added a few words to her vocabulary from all her traveling. -Janette told Celine she is very mature. Celine looks flattered with this compliment. She says maturity comes with time and that's why she is not afraid of getting older. - Celine thinks life gave her extraordinary gifts but she doesn't want to take those for granted. She wants to share happiness. Her greatest gift ever was RC. She says he is a wonderful child and she hopes she can have another one. Celine was all moved by the end of the interview because Janette just made so many compliments. Janette looked like a proud mother to Celine. It was so great to see her telling Celine she is not only the best singer in the world, she is a great person. Janette made a lot of the compliments to Celine that I would love to say to her and I was thrilled to see how Celine reacted to it. Unfortunately this interview was in French and no translation I can do will ever be faithful to the whole emotion. Celine really speaks with such wisdom maturity, peace, tranquility and happiness. It really comes from the heart. I feel like she found her true happiness and she found her deepest inner peace. She knows exactly what she wants. I can't be more clear than this. She is a remarkable woman. I'm very proud to be her fan!!!!! Mozinha Posted December 31, 2005 at 01:47 PM Posted December 31, 2005 at 01:47 PM -She just wants to sit down and invite people. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>she can invite me, I'll be glad to ask her many questions, and be hers and RC's best friend. LOLOLOL me too!!!!!!! And ladys first From what I understand from this, Celine will never stop. She wants to try new music and keep doing it because she just loves it!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>this will bring her new success she hadn't expected.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I believe it to. It's like she said. The best is yet to come!!!!!!
