I travelled from Europe to Québec and visited some of my friends over there... I enjoyed performing some Gershwin with my friend Matt Herkowitz, an amazing musician, the one who created and played “Le nocturne” on the album “Nue”… He is a highly talented pianist. His solo album “Last impressions” is a marvel. I have already composed with him (Nolwenn, Daniel Levi). He has just created a project on Gershwin- fascinating- in which he gives new harmonies and musical arrangements to some of the songs. Then, he asks some mates of his (like me) to sing on this work. You will have the opportunity to hear the result soon… In my schedule, I took some holidays too. A little week, great… I did what I don’t usually have time to do: read some books, listened to lots of music, saw movies, one in particular, a movie adapted from a play “ANGELS IN AMERICA”, starring Mery Streep and Al Pacino. Absolutely fabulous… Now we are on the verge of releasing my live CD/DVD… Worries and questions… “Aime” is a really important song for to me, and I am again struggling with my doubts: Will you like it? Will they like it? But above all, where are you waiting for me? Let me tell you where I am going to, so that we can meet: promotion is starting tomorrow until the end of December. We will see each other on my different TV shows, radios and events we organize… When promotion is over, I will be in a studio working on my new project: an album in Italian. I thought about it for quite a long time. Thinking about it is over now, I’m doing it. There is a duet with Gigi d’Alessio, an Italian artist I introduced to you in March at the Zénith. This duet will be on Gigi’s album this fall; then on my album, you will find “Aime” (“Love”) in Italian, personal and original compositions and some songs written by some great Italians… To be continued… Italy is this part of me I haven’t musically explored yet and this opportunity finally comes to me. Let “FESTA” begin!!! I hope you will like the project. Personally, I am really excited about it, excited like a child, excited just like those moments I spent with my pals in Sicilia, during my summer holidays from the age of 8 to 16. In a way, this album takes me to another life… to my roots… I hope you will follow me in this new adventure… My Angels: enjoy the Live CD/DVD! I tell you “Aime” (“Love”) Lara riassumo.... di ritorno dall'europa lara è in quebec dove ha collaborato di nuovo colpianista Matt Herkowitz, e ha inciso "qualcosa" che sentiremo presto. per il momento si gode un pò di riposo finchè non uscirà il CD/DVD live e dal suo rilascio fino alla fine di dicembre sarà in giro per vari programmi e radio per la promozione dello stesso e del singolo Aime (che credo abbia il titolo "Love" per la versione inglese). finita la promozione finalmente laretta si deciderà a rinchiudersi nello studio di registrazione per sto benedetto CD Italiano (prima era un cd tutto italiano, poi mi scrive che è multilingua, ora rispunta solo italiano.... laretta e deciditi però...). in questo CD ci sarà Aime in italiano, canzoni nuove, altre canzoni scritte da cantanti italiani (non ben precisato se scritte per lei o se so semplici cover, ma credo + la seconda ipotesi) e ci sarà il duetto con gigino che ascolteremo prima grazie all'uscita del CD di gigetto (esce prima quello che non il cd di lara). DirkPitt Posted October 27, 2006 at 12:12 PM Posted October 27, 2006 at 12:12 PM che caruccio sto duetto... sembra un vecchio duetto napoletano ricantato (quasi) in italiano... laretta urla un pò troppo cmq la sua pronuncia sembra migliorata e sembra aver ripreso un pò di voce chissà perchè in questi giorni il duetto circolava con il titolo "La Donna Che Vorrei" anche al TG1 l'hanno chiamato con sto titolo... vabbu hanno anche chiamato "Laura" Fabian..... Comunque, ho regalato a mio fratello il CD di Gigi (costava 9,90€ da Mediaworld), e ci sono 3 fotine dalla recording session del brano: lei proprio bellissima... La sortie de l'opus est prévue pour avril 2007 seulement en Italie. Lara précise donc que l'import va chauffer pour ses fans. Elle va travailler avec de grands artistes italien comme Gigi d'Alessio, avec qui elle chante "Un cuore malato", un single phare du nouvel album "Made in Italy" de Gigi.
