Ethan Posted September 1, 2005 at 04:33 PM Posted September 1, 2005 at 04:33 PM (edited) It's said that for ANDHC there were recorded over 30 songs, of which at least 18 are known to be released: the album tracks and CWS (collector), ABOY (collector and GTSW single). What do you think happened to the other 12 or more songs... is it possible some later appeared on OH and Miracle? / Ethan Edited September 1, 2005 at 04:47 PM by 9types Quote http://www.myfilehut.com/userfiles/20444/signature.jpgThe true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible. - Oscar WildeThanks to ByuSmurf for the image

fred Posted September 1, 2005 at 07:13 PM Posted September 1, 2005 at 07:13 PM (edited) (and it's written by Lasse Berghagen from Sweden, Sony Music says that it's a good song and that it may be a big hit worldwide) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Then why the hell did they exclude it?!?!?! I know he was writing a song for her, and he was very exited about it. This is a genuine man who reached extreme popularity even though the odds was against him: he was not so young, his looks were gone (at least in the eyes of youngers) and he was a bit corny, and a quite old fashioned, and popular amongst the elderly. Yet he manged to reach enourmous hights in popularity and status through the show he hosted for many years 'Allsång På Skansen' ( A live broadcasted weekly show from Djurgården - "Stockholm's Hamptons/Central Park" - where he and celebrity guests entertained a live audience of many thousands and invited them to sing along with them in a national karaoke - if Céline knew about the show she'd love it, I'm sure). Lasse soon got the main star of the show, and kept that status even when stars like Ricky Martin shared his stage. I know the main reason for his popularity was his genuine , humorous and humble ways. He chose to step down from the show when he was on top. But he still is very popular. He writes many songs. The most popular and finest, and a classical amongst older and children is 'Teddybjörnen Fredriksson' about an old man looking back on his childhood long lost friend the Teddybear named Fredriksson who always was there... I do not doubt the quality of this unreleased track at all. What shocks me is that it wasn't released - NOT EVEN ON MIRACLE!!! (where it certainly would be more than suitible). And what saddens me enormously is that we never have the chanse to hear it... I hope he gives this track to Sweden's nr one vocalist and pop diva Carola (even though I don't like her ways) she also did a lullaby album a couple of years ago and she woulnd't doubt releasing it...that would be good, coz then we'd have a chanse to hear it.... Another track I'd love to hear is Heaven's What I Feel, what was she thinking giving that away.. /fred Edited September 1, 2005 at 07:14 PM by fred Quote Peace and love to all.

Anyway as for the songs on your list I Know What Love Is was released on the One Heart CD (unless it's a different song) and Is Nothing Sacred that's on the internet. As for the rest of these songs you could make a cd out of them or two cds. I would love to hear these songs though and I hope that some of them if not all of them get released one day on future releases. Quote

Taking Chances Posted February 22, 2017 at 12:42 AM Posted February 22, 2017 at 12:42 AM I retrieve this old topic which includes many interesting info about Céline's unreleased songs Let's hope we get something out of it. If someone actually have those songs, we should be able to listen to them. I'd buy them if I needed to, I almost don't care the price. Stuff like this is gold to me. Another thing is the quality. Is it actually studio quality, or just bad recording of the supposed studio version? Celine's unreleased music seems to be in a highly protected vault Sony doesn't wanna share with us. Ironically, apart from new music, old music and unreleased music is probably what fans want the most. I wish Sony would open their eyes and release previously unreleased material. 2 Quote
Javito Posted February 22, 2017 at 12:51 AM Posted February 22, 2017 at 12:51 AM I don't think any Céline Dion fan has any of these songs in his power lol. If that was the case, they would have leaked somehow, or at least one snippet It happened with a snippet of Love Is Alive though. The rest of them, they must be well hidden right in the Earth's core lol Probably Céline doesn't ever remember to have recorded most of them... 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

However, I know something exists, but it's probably super rare and more of a collectors item unfortunately. I remember, I do wonder where he got the snippet of Love Is Alive. I think she remembers a lot of stuff, but doesn't really care about it because it's "just" redundant album material. Too bad, cause it's nothing I want more than unreleased stuff, b-singles, demos, live recordings, any kind of appearance, remixes, edits and so on. ANYTHING GOES. 3 Quote

They each had their purpose, both at a very poignant time in Celine's life and career. They're not meant to be compared to a "normal" release. I don't think anyway. Really drawn to Run Like A River though. Been such a long time is a song has leaked. Think we're due one 😂 2 Quote

CelinesDIVO5 Posted February 22, 2017 at 09:34 PM Posted February 22, 2017 at 09:34 PM (edited) leaks work production, i was waiting to something big like in style of Jim Steiman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDxoj-tDDIU I think that would have come off as beyond self indulgent. I big over the top production would not have been the way to show her grieving. It would have come off contrived. A simple song, with heartfelt lyrics and a clear message was the way to go. To have Celine record a song with belting vocals and an acrobatic arrangement would have had her panned by the critics as using her husband's death to garner a hit. It would not have gone well for her. I love Jim Steinman productions. I'm a huge fan of over the top. This just wasn't the time.
