Can Celine sing all kinds of music?

I can imagine Celine singing rap! And like Lisi said, she already did something similar to rap on Treat Her Like A Lady. Although it's not a rap song, her singing sounds a little bit like rap. I think it's great!

Ten Days from ANDHC sounded very country to me, i didn't like it. much of 1 fille & 4 types was a rootsy, bayou feel and sound - which was great. retiens-moi, ne bouge pas, even je t'aime encore are great examples. "Tous les blues sont ecrits pour toi" from SSD is another great blues performance on her part.

 

Her performance of "if walls could talk" and "goodbye's (the saddest word)," both written by Mutt Lange (shania twain's husband/producer) are further proof of her (and his) versatility and crossover appeal.

 

but i think that celine, as everyone has said can sing whatever the heck she wants.

 

Except for "you shook me all night long," i agree with VH1 calling it "the worst metal moment of all time."

Celine is one of the very few, very fortunate, artists who can sing any genre of music. Another such artist in my opinion is Barbra Streisand. So Celine is in very good company.

She could try definitely but what for? She did some experiments like Treat Her Like a Lady, Tous les blues sont ecrits our toi, Le ballet, You shook me all night long, I drove all night, Reveal... She does lots of things in music actually and it's absolutely not true when people say that all of her songs are ballds. One Heart - is it a ballad? Or You and I?.. No. So I want her to do the things she's doing now coz "every little thing she does is magic".

She's fantastic in most of the great wide world of Pop-Music but Soul (sorry, but Real Soul ... that's not the world for her kind of voice)

Please never try it, M'am just to please some fans.

 

I will never hear a song composed by Schubert sung by Celine Dion. And never a part of an opera by Wagner.

 

That's something for other kinds of voices - but not for Celine Dion.

She can sing in many different styles of music, but DEFINITELY NOT ALL - there are too many genres and sub-genres out there... and OF COURSE, and she shouldn't even try all of them (THLAL is a classic example).

 

Also, A rolling rock cannot collect moss.

I guess it was in 2003, right after she started in Vegas... The name of the program is "Amaury Junior" named after the host... I have it in VHS, but I don't know how to put it in my computer... I'll see if I can find it somewhere!

Celine has sung many different kinds of music during her carrier:

 

Pop - mostly;

Rock - "You Shook Me All Night Long";

Hip-Hop - "Rain, Tax";

Blues - "Le Ballet";

Classical - "O Holy Night";

etc.

 

Do you think Celine can sing any kind of music and do it amazingly?! Most singers can't, so they stick to their own style. But Celine is always trying something new.
