~Lady~ Posted August 5, 2005 at 08:02 PM Posted August 5, 2005 at 08:02 PM Just wanna ask what is the best and easiest was to cut people (or objects) in photoshop. I found some tutorials on this, but they didn't help much. I use to use Corel and it was pretty easy to cut. But using both programs in the same time is inconvenient. So, how do you cut people? Thanks! Quote

nano Posted August 12, 2005 at 02:48 PM Posted August 12, 2005 at 02:48 PM well..there are many options to cut objects..it's difficult to give advice how to cut 'cause every case is different. Everything depends of the pic (the background, colors etc..) Here are the tools I use: *Magic Wand *Eraser*Lasso (all three of them)*mask*extract you should try to find a tutorial..there are tons of really good sites..http://www.celinedionforum.com/index.php?showtopic=5724 Quote "Today, I’m a person on a path of connecting with my source and understanding that I am on the leading edge of creation.."
Clari Posted August 12, 2005 at 06:14 PM Posted August 12, 2005 at 06:14 PM (edited) The smooth eraser (not the fluffy one) for curves, hair.Lasso (point-to-point) for certain parts of the legs and arms. When cutting a photo I advice to start cutting hair first! It's the most annoying! I'm sure everything is somewhat the same / similar on PhotoShop.
