Very true, I did think as the opening night is the Saturday that there’d be less chance of getting a ticket. Second night to me seemed like a safe bet, that and I can watch all the videos people upload and get all excited 😆

There was no seating plan, just different categories to choose from which were labeled for example floor, or tribune 1 or 2 and so on. I don't know exactly were my seats are, just the row and the seat numbers

Does anyone wonder about the setlist for opening night? I think it’s fair to say she’ll get a long standing ovation and it may be difficult to calm the crowd. Possible they will have to cut a few songs to make room for longer chats with lots of applause and general reaction?

Before 2020 she was undiagnosed and managing it herself. Very risky. Look at the medication she used. Now she’s a wonderful team around her. She would not be even entertaining if it was too much. She can do this and we will support her.

I doubt they’ll have a strict curfew. I think Celine will really take her time on opening night, taking in all the love from the crowd but also going through the entire show that they had planned. I think the first show might run overtime quite a bit.

Alternatively, given that there is an actual designer this time in Willo Perron, they could have moments (songs) prepared that will only debut after she settles in with the first few shows, not unlike the TCWT.

Ugh. I finally convinced myself to splurge on an Event Travel concert-plus-hotel package, only to find that none of the available options allow booking for just one person - you have to book a twin/double room.  Guess I'm still at the mercy of the regular sales, so...

Thats correct, it’s also listed on the official Céline Dion website. The strange thing is that the tickets are only supposed to be available from this coming Friday. So how is it possible that we can already buy tickets now? If you click through to the Event Travel site via the Céline Dion website, it also says that they are only available from Friday.

Doesn't look like a scam. I used Event Travel to book tickets to see her in Paris in 2016. Some of their logos etc look very basic but they were good when I used them before.

I had the same question...a few pages ago- The forum member that provides the link found it through a pre-sale site

Event Travel had their packages open for pre-sale website address ended as CD26PS (ps, pre-sale)

 

I'm thankful it was discovered as event travel was my plan for Friday, but now I don't have to worry!

First of all, I want to sincerely thank the member that posted the Event Travel link. I was losing my mind with the lotteries and I was always going for the ticket+hotel package anyway. So THANK YOU.

Now, a few practical questions. Of course, I was also worried the Event Travel thing was a scam, but it does appear on the celine.dion website and, once I made my booking, I could check it on the main Event Travel page after typing in the reservation number and passcode they sent me in the confirmation email. The reservation is there. I imagine you all did the same?

When it comes to receiving the ticket, to those of you who have used this service before: when are tickets normally sent? What is your experience? I read their policy but was wondering if anyone has dealt with it first hand already.

And finally, anyone going on Oct 3rd? I will be there by myself so thought I could make friends with other fans

By the time they calm the crowd she'll probably still be crying her eyes out and need a few minutes 🥹 she'll be doing well if she manages to control herself and stay on track, there's been many emotional moments over the years but this opening night would have to be one of the biggest

I woke up today in a state of calm, knowing that I had a decent ticket for opening night and a second row for October 9th.

I am soooo grateful to be part of this forum.
Without it, I'd still be a mess, still hoping for a miracle.

And thanks to the rest of you, for providing additional info, reassurance, moral support and some much-needed comic relief...
