I didn't crossed my mind yet but after reading your message. Even if we not there all shows, we get amazing coverage over 2 months! Bootleg videos and audio maybe some new outfits or hairstyles. Maybe some hotel pictures and videos! That alone is a treat again!

I think the thing is in this day and age, you don’t really need to do much in-person promotion or appearances to promote something. Granted, there are still some big shows around the world people do for promotion for albums and tours (SNL, The Tonight Show, Graham Norton, etc.) but seeing as (for now) this is just a Paris engagement, the clearly high-budget promotion that’s gone into this without her even having to go to Paris, it wouldn’t surprise me if she’s not seen until the rehearsal process begins.

Interviews? I think so, maybe- id like that anyway, though id imagine they’d be for French and Québécois media. Kelly Clarkson is now the P!nk show (??) but I don’t see that happening. 3 singles with videos, maybe 1, *if* this album does come out soon. Fashion shoots absolutely lol, that’s Celines second favourite thing in the world. But I really don’t see her getting on to a stage to sing before that first night in Paris; I think she and her team know how high stakes this is gonna be, and the fact that the whole world will be watching, so id bet money that the first time we’ll hear her sing is on September 12th.

Does anyone think that they reason Celine choose a big arena in a place NOT Vegas is they knew the likelihood of people in masses traveling to Vegas where they feel a Paris show would mostly be locals around France… in the event of a same day cancelled performance.. ?

I think that’s definitely possible, but I also think other factors like the safety net of being in a location like Paris, and how she’s basically the closest thing to royalty most of the french speaking world has, and then the financial aspect; 10 shows (and likely more) at a 40,000 seat arena will bring in far more money than 30 shows in a 5,000 seat theatre.

Well yes, the fact is that certainly a lot of Europeans and Canadians are not keen on travelling to the US at the moment for obvious reasons. Paris will always be a guaranteed sell out.

Plus Céline just really loves Paris, more and more as the years go by.

Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if she moved there permanently at some point in the future. I have a feeling she’s mainly staying in Vegas now because her kids have built their lives there. Paris is obviously where she really wants to be.

Of course there’s that sell as well… but I meant when Celine home bases in Vegas and cancels a show it’s probably harder on them because ppl go to Vegas more so to see her… in France or basically a tour, Celine does the traveling but the majority of concert goers are a car ride home, resulting in less guilt if a show needed to be canceled l.

Sorry: But this isn't her!! Although certainly a beautiful picture - but that's not a woman of 58! I don't understand this "need" to completely take out reality of a face. And mainly because Céline is one of the rare stars who don't have her face destroyed completely with permanent face surgeries. What's wrong to age???!!! That's life!

Well, according to the rumors, if she is going to release a new French song in mid-April, she should give at least an interview in Canada and another in France.

Yeah it’s crazy - the last time Celine was active properly, AI wasn’t really a thing. Crazy how much has changed since she has been away. 
 

2019 was so much more simple before Covid, wars, cost of living crisis and AI.

If the first photo was run through an AI upscaler, and that's the problem. AI upscalers don't actually zoom in. They regenerate the image and guess what should be there. When details like small text or logos are involved, the AI doesn't truly understand them, it just makes something up that looks plausible.

You can see this clearly with the colors too. On the original photo the text beside the FNAC logo is black and gold, but in the AI version everything is black. That's because the AI saw small shapes and just picked one color. It didn't understand there were two separate colors.

The Fnac logo looks off for the same reason. It's just what AI does when someone hits go without giving it any instructions. If you don't tell the Aai generator what the text should say or what colors to use, it doesn't know. So it just does whatever it wants.
