I read in some news that in Denver they are testing a new medicine for SPS, the doctors are excited and it seems to be effective against the disease. Edited by joaofilho

See the SPS thread. I had linked to Dr Piquet’s post about the Kyverna trial (which she had also mentioned in that recent interview). It’s early days though. Just about to start trials so TBD on success and approval probably years away.

She’s looking great!! It’s crazy to me how much better she looks than even at the Grammys, a few months ago. I’m so thrilled they’ve found a regiment that clearly is helping her improve and get back to herself!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

She's looking great!! It's crazy to me how much better she looks than even at the Grammys, a few months ago. I'm so thrilled they've found a regiment that clearly is helping her improve and get back to herself!

"One of the people that both Pineda and Shire have charmed has been the "My Heart Will Go On" vocalist whenever she's in Boston. "She's a good friend of ours," the Food Network star says.

"When her husband, René Angélil, was sick, he was at Mass General. She spent three months in Boston. A friend of ours had a connection and asked if my mother and I wanted to do lunch and dinner for them at her house for three months," Pineda recalls.

"When we started, she would stay out of the kitchen," the restaurateur reveals of the performer. "But then we'd start getting to know each other, and now whenever she comes into Boston, she actually calls my personal cell phone, asks where I am, what restaurant to go to. So that was a lot of fun with her. She's a total sweetheart and her family's amazing."

I get a sense there is not much of a bond between them, with the exception of the very limited professional engagements they collaborated on — and the similarly limited acknowledgement they have given each other over the years (more from Céline’s side).

 

I read Elton’s memoir that he released a few years ago and was actually surprised at the fact that there is not a single mention of Céline in the chapter that talks about his first residency and how that project came to be. If I remember correctly, he even claimed in the book to be the one to have revolutionized or pioneered the modern Vegas residency with ‘The Red Piano’ smh.

At least Céline had something positive to say (of course) about Elton...

 

Last night, Celine made a surprise appearance at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, to present the City of Hope 2024 Spirit of Life Award to Jay Marciano, Chairman and CEO of AEG Presents. Extraordinary company gathered there in support of the acceleration of cancer research and treatment. You can learn more about the cause on the City of Hope page.

She’s in the category of Prince and MJ… they choose wisely when they show up, so it’s rare but always a statement. She’s always been this way but even more now after SPS.

I wonder if her twins are with her or not, if not I’d assume she left back to Vegas right away as this was the day before their birthday

OMG...

I am really,really touched. Ok I admit I shed a tear. This is huge, Can you imagine everything that is going on in Celine's mind? I mean she is at the Colosseum,,her home.The place that was built for her. Can you imagine all the memories? And of course with Adele that she has always adored. I believe the moment between them said it all.Respect and admiration between two icons .Celine and Adele were so emotional

Very sweet and special moment. So glad that Celine attended Adele’s show before it closed. And it’s surreal to see Celine back in the Colosseum. Adele’s reaction is priceless. It’s touching to see Celine so moved.

 

Also, RC looks more and more like Celine’s dad.
