They didn't do it when the song was at its peak, why are they so late lol

Maybe they see longevity, and in UK I think it’s peaking now.

Hopefully this will help the streaming. 🤞

Unless simply put people don’t like the song, which would explain the situation 😂

Would it get moved from the B list to the A list on BBC Radio if people didn’t like it?

Well, those decisions may not be solely data-driven. Other considerations may be taken into account from mere connections to co-ventures or quid pro quo. US 90s radio airplay were plagued with payola.

I do not say that public may not like the song necessarily at this stage, but if after heavy airplay weeks (which is not yet the case, and has not happen for Céline for a very very very long time, so kuddos for Majestic to get the song until this point ! smile.png ), its streamings do not get higher, it would seem fair that unfortunately it does not stick with the public.

But fingers crossed that on the contrary, the song breaks top40 (if the Olympic performance happens, extra exposure may help SMHOF happy.png )

I’m not hopeful of it breaking into the top 40 unfortunately.

This really just needs spotify playlisting but I doubt her label or management want to pay for it.

Which is too bad as this time she had momentum and a real chance to get a top40 with bit more push from Sony.

This:
As much as I love how this song gets all the love by different DJs.

I rather see them promoting the hell out of the first remix, than releasing another edit which has some small differences.

And there are soooo many celine songs I would like to have remix, so let's go for that!

How many of these do they need to release? It too the hype away from the original release and probably what kept it from

Going top 40.!

The charting points are combined. Buying/ streaming any of those remixes contributes to the chart success of the original.

It's why you'll basically see artists release a single and a few days later release an ep full of remixes of that single.

It is out, but doesn’t show up under Celine’s name on Spotify. It’s under Majestic, The Jammin Kid, or Jess Bays. She’s still featured on the track though. I wonder if her team still wanted I Am: Celine Dion soundtrack to show up as her most recent release, so they did it that way?

The next week we could possibly see a drop on the UK Singles Chart because of the ACR rule. Once a track is ten weeks old, if its weekly chart sale has declined by three weeks in a row, it is moved onto the Accelerated Chart Ratio where its digital streams now count for half of what they did before. Although I hope the song won't go onto ACR yet. Edited by max24

UK Radio Airplay Chart:

#13 (+2)

So it’s definitely getting strong airplay, sadly just isn’t translating into strong streaming numbers.

Seems rules are designed to benefit certain song and artists.
