No Ashes had bigger streaming numbers during the first weeks/months after its release (see page 1 here) even in 2018 when Céline’s stats were much lower. But of course the context was different. Ashes was the main theme of à hugely popular movie among young audience, had a successful music video, enjoyed some promotion…and, maybe most important, was a brand new Céline-trademark-power-ballad song.

 

Set My Heart On Fire is doing amazing for the kind of song it is with zero promo.

Unless they are blending together as the main title for both of them is « Set my heart on fire ».

 

But dunno what are the current rules for the official charts, which may differ country per country.

As much as I love that there is another version, I just hope it doesn’t ruin the momentum.

I was shocked how strong the response was by the Internet demanding that he release the original. "It's too fast" and "the original was way better" were splattered all over social media posts about the song. I guess now they get their wish Will be interesting to see the streaming numbers and ripple effects
