They always do that. One example for that is the Beauty And The Beast Trailer. That Big Orchestral Beauty And The Beast Song sang by Ariana in the trailer but in the final song it’s like a midi oke.

That’s usually right, the trailer version of a song is usually “grander” on purpose…. Remember the reason is because this trailer will be showed in cinemas as a preview during other movies in the next 3 months… they do it capitalize on the sound in the cinema and get people paying attention.

Now if this is true… why would they release a single in September from this movie??? The movie is released in May, why would they wait 4 months AFTER the movie is released to do that? That makes no sense even by SONY and TeamCeline standards.

Has anyone seen the screenshot where the producer confirmed this? I smell BS. The September single makes no sense. It’s Feb, film comes out in May. Why would they mention a single being released 4 months after the film comes out?

 

Let’s say a single does come in Sept; what about the single before the film and maybe another when the film is released?

They do record specific music cues for trailers. One good example is the music in the latest Avatar 2 trailer which is nowhere to be found in the film.
