E! News just posted this video on their YouTube channel today. It's the story about Claudette saying that Celine has lost all control of her muscles. I called them out for releasing this video now and making it seem like her current situation when it was a poor translation from almost a year ago!

I think it is a “re-airing” of a previous story they did. However, as the conditions of the story aren’t fully accurate and she has proven that she has not lost all control of her muscles, I feel like journalistic integrity should have kept them from posting it again, but I digress, lol.

Yeah that math doesn't quite add up. Personally, I think it started at least before the European leg though because wasn't it at the end of March that Australian shows were canceled or rescheduled and wasn't she going through some sort of vocal therapy at that time? I find it odd how much her tone changed when she took those two or three weeks off in April, then her tone change a good amount from even the Manchester shows to Birmingham, which was just 7 or 8 days later

Well, unfortunately it is clearly written : “Your disease is active, and you have tried previous treatments, but you did not get better.” As far as we know she got better so I don’t think she will be part of it.

We have no idea how she's currently doing or how she's currently responding to treatment though. What's working one moment may no longer work the next.

 

If she was truly doing well, I feel we'd be hearing a lot more of her unfortunately.

Unless she's really preparing something big. But that just seems less and less likely the more time passes. 🥺

What’s odd to me is they didn’t take a moment to give an update on her personal journey while they had the chance to be together. I don’t know if that means she isn’t really improving but also not worsening. Seems the video even though not meant to give an update but to create awareness, leaves us fans… more confused then before.

I’m not saying she doesn’t seem sad but Celine always comes across more serious (and perhaps sombre) when talking about super serious topics like this one. I’m not reading too much into her demeanour in this particular video.

 

I have very much changed my opinion though in that I no longer think things are in the pipeline. I feel we’re all waiting for something but I’m not convinced it’s coming anymore.

Why wouldn’t they take the opportunity to update us on Celine’s own personal progression? I try to be positive, however, there comes a time we all have to not see what’s not there… the extended silence, the lack of information, and the fact that they haven’t announced anything in the pipeline since they heavily hinted at a return almost a year ago now. All of that screams she isn’t and won’t be ready anytime soon. I hope I’m wrong but the signs so far haven’t been good in terms of her career, if I had to guess, just based on body language/ tone and gut feeling, I’d assume Celine hasn’t worsened but also hasn’t improved, I’d guess she’s kinda just stable in her fight but not good enough for a return. Again, I hope I’m wrong but with each passing day the more bleak it seems.

Ya again I don’t see regression evident , rather I see a very serious condition being talked about. But I also see Celine’s determination and drive. I really don’t think it would be in good taste to update us on her condition on national awareness day for the disease. Because many are not well enough to even talk about it in front of a camera.
