A paris residency is what we been saying for years!!!

A smaller venue has my preference but let's go!

 

When did they stopped filming the documentary?

Haven't seen it yet, but my guess is that since that her health has tremendously changed for the better, since she be working to get back on stage.

 

Curious to see what they be working on to make it work for her.

My only fear since these spasms appear so suddenly 'what if she is onstage mid lipsync performance'

I know production had to stop at some point but imagine if they were able to chronicle her journey back for the stage… rehearsals, vocal exercises, etc… and then release the doc with the announcement of her return. Maybe we need a part 2 of some kind, hopefully her team is filming everything.

Somehow that's what I think too. I totally understand her need for transparency in a brutal way, her scream for truth, to turn the page, kill her old self and finally move on.

What question me in term of strategy, and makes me a bit sad too is that the public and journalist are let on a terrible and shocking image of her during her crisis. And bam, it ends.

 

I read more and more people and journalist talking about Celine, the singer, in the past. Like it is acted that she lost her voice. It will be time soon, if she wants it, if she's ready, if her return on stage is a reality, to clarify, communicate and concentrate on more positive things: her rehabilitation, her progress, her new(?) voice etc... I hope they have a plan for that. And in all that somehow she will have to demonstrate where she is.

I think back to when the world was opening back up “post” pandemic and it felt like an eternity; and I felt tired being back to my daily life and interactions with people again, and my life is nothing compared to Celine’s in front of the camera/audience etc.

Celine has had an extended lock down (self imposed to try to heal herself) and “bunkered” down for nearly 4 years. If it took me/us awhile to feel back to some form of normalcy again… ie: when going back, feeling fatigued easily, feeling like being social was a chore almost awkward at first,( as we saw with Celine a few times, slightly awkward with a reporter or searching for words etc) it was much shorter of time than Celine’s “absence”, I can’t imagine how she’s feeling but she’s doing it with grace. The more she is out and about, safely of course, the more stamina she will build up again.

It’s a snapshot of a point in time. And that appears to be about a year, 2022 +/- a few months. So I think she has had another year + of rehabilitation since.

Also, may be MORE of a reason that Celine has all but gave a date for her return, she’s basically shouting to us she’ll back/ IS back. Maybe to counter because she knows what it would look like to the average Joe who just watches the doc. People like us who aren’t watching her every move and know better because we do our homework.

I would love that!!!

Initially I thought that would be the documentary, a sort of TTEOTW but better.

I'm here for it! Also, rehearsals are the best so the more we can see the better.

 

Haven't seen the documentary, but I think the general fan/audience would definitely be confused as what they see in the documentary and how her health is now.

I was, (maybe still a little bit sceptical) especially after the interviews etc.

 

My guess is that she first needs to show up on a stage singing, to 'proof' she is capable again. But who knows, it feels like they worked it out this time.

prior to “A new Day…”’nobody used the word “residency” that easily… now more than one show in a specific area, people are calling it a “residency”.
