stevo Posted September 11, 2019 at 06:19 PM Posted September 11, 2019 at 06:19 PM Okay thank you. How has it been recorded already arnt radio interviews always live? Sorry i dont listen to broadcasts much ‘She has recorded a brand new interview - the longest of her career - exclusively for Radio 2 - in which she discusses a variety of career-encompassing subjects from A to Z.Topics included, C for Concerts, E for Eurovision (which she won in 1988), H for haute couture, M for Motherhood, and R for her late husband, Rene Angelil.’ - it doesn’t have to be live. They’ll just play the 2 hour interview... 1 Quote

bilinkew Posted September 12, 2019 at 08:00 AM Posted September 12, 2019 at 08:00 AM Wow - this sounds great and not too long to wait now! Most artists would struggle with Z . . . any bets Céline will drop Ziggy?? 2 Quote
Peppercorn1991 Posted September 12, 2019 at 08:05 AM Posted September 12, 2019 at 08:05 AM Is there another one of these interviews available with another artist? I can’t seem to find one on YouTube Kev x Quote
bilinkew Posted September 12, 2019 at 09:21 AM Posted September 12, 2019 at 09:21 AM There is this one on The Carpenters on YT - but it is much shorter as think most of music has been removed due to copyright https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEQcg7esShI Very promising and an interesting format, think we will get something new from our girl, fingers crossed! 1 Quote
Javito Posted September 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM Posted September 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM A to Z? I bet she's going to name all the shoe brands she has ever purchased in her life, or the fashion designers she can remember... 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
ryba Posted September 12, 2019 at 06:19 PM Posted September 12, 2019 at 06:19 PM (edited) Will this Interview also be filmed and available as a video on YouTube? Or will it just be audio? Edited September 12, 2019 at 06:19 PM by ryba Quote
stevo Posted September 12, 2019 at 07:37 PM Posted September 12, 2019 at 07:37 PM Will this Interview also be filmed and available as a video on YouTube? Or will it just be audio? Likely just audio as it’s a radio show Quote

Yes — this includes the entire interview with Richard Carpenter but they’ve removed the songs (sadly) as well as the commercials. It was a magical experience listening to it when it first aired! Heads up: They play a significant amount of songs so that’s why the program is so long. So y’all don’t get your hopes up for a gigantic Celine interview! But I’m sure it’ll be great. I hope someone can record this when it airs so we’ll have it in its original context. 1 Quote

I've also seen a number of Celine-related tweets from various journalists that have since been deleted, or have been very cryptic, which leads me to believe there's a lot more that has been embargoed and that we simply don't know about yet. Just you wait, pretty soon there will be more Celine all over the media than you know what to do with! 1 Quote
