I read somewhere that John Galliano mentioned that the look he created did not include the sunglasses Celine wore. Watching this video of Celine without sunglasses, I confess that it looks much better and gives it a young and sophisticated look. This was probably her first iconic look. The sunglasses were custom RayBans, which offered (I believe) a 25k donation to charity if Celine agreed to wear them. Or so I recall... Quote

Plus some outfits from the '90s. For instance, the one she wore to the Adisq in 1990, when she declined that award, and the WDMHBN performance on Leno. Both of those moments were featured in the Thierry Mugler Couturissime exhibit at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (and later in Paris, I believe). (I happened to be in Montreal at the time and saw it - http://www.celinedionforum.com/topic/54730-celine-las-vegas-show-ends-june-8th-2019-official-topic/page__st__15360#entry2343683; think Pepe did as well since that was around the time they were in Quebec.) 1 Quote
